Then please allow me to correct this terrible oversight. In honour of his
many bizarre meltdowns of the past two weeks, I, Snarky, do hereby
nominate Bucky Breeder for Kook of the Month.

Seconds?

combination of satirical irreverence and sense of justice that Bruce and

explaining to reporters the meaning of that symbolism. Folksinger Phil

Damnitall! <fixes .sig with the Hammer> Terribly sorry about that, RADW.
I am not your Official Overseer until an election has been held (even
then, only if the vote is in my favour), and I was wrong to leave it in
my .sig for so long without correcting it (hadn't used that profile for
days...), as well as being wrong to put it in so soon. Also, apologies to
Cujo and the FNVW.

Will this do?

"GODS!

"Take for example Jehovah. His existence is proven archaeologically since he
was a Hyksos pharaoh of Lower Egypt and Cannan and inscriptions exist of his
name at the time he reigned. Zeus's existence is also proven
archaeologically since both Egyptian and Minoan inscriptions exist of his
name at the time he reigned which was contemporary with Jehovah. Saturn's
existence is also proven archaeologically with Minoan inscriptions. This is
all on top of the historical evidence for all of these Gods existence which
is not and has never been disputed. The Gods has always been described and
accepted as historical kings deified by their peers and descendents because
of the benefits they bestowed upon them."

<TeqdndD6gpd2AdLV...@eclipse.net.uk>

Aggie defines himself as a Hellenic polytheist, making him a member of a
recognised non-crackpot religion. However, his interpretation of
*other people's* belief systems is somewhat creative - I suspect this
counts more towards Historical Revisionism than Crackpot Religion.

"It might interest you to know
that I am a Polytheist. I believe in all the Gods, but my belief system is
founded on rationality. I know that Zeus was a deified Minoan period Greek
king, Dumuzi was a defied Sumerian king, Jehovah was a Phoenician Sea God
who was one of their defied kings and Christ was a deified Jew. [...]

"There is no such thing as Satan."

<bqadnTXu5Zd_5fvY...@pipex.net>

"Even the Christian Church fathers believed that the Gods were deified
ancestors as did every ancient historian and priest because that is what
Gods were."

<gJOdnZGExslR3E7a...@eclipse.net.uk>

"You are the one with the crank views. Every single reputable historian and
historical writer accepts what I have said, including Herodotus, Porphyry,
Philo, Plato, Lynche and Isaac Newton."

<KKednUpBY8URAM7V...@eclipse.net.uk>

"I know 100% that Zeus is real as is Kronos as are all the other Gods since
they are all deified ancestors and documents exist from the time they lived
which name them. The same goes for Jehovah. There were in fact two of them."

<z9ednSJZmpXBhqvV...@eclipse.net.uk>

"BULLSHIT!

"The Biblical flood myth was stolen from the Greeks and Europeans and is
actually the story of the Ogygian Deluge and first Deukalion Flood.

"When I dated the Biblical flood I had no idea would coincide with the
Ogygian Deluge or either Deukalion Flood since I didn't know when the either
Ogygian deluge was or the Deukalion Floods were, nor when the Biblical flood
was or the correct date of the Thera Eurruption which is what caused it. I
dated the Biblical flood numerically and statistically using the figures
given in the bible independently of the Ogygian Deluge and Deukalion Floods
whose dating I based solely on statistical analysis of the Generations from
Io and Epaphus down to Cadmus and Europe and a reconstruction of the entire
Theban and Cretan kings lists starting from the traditional date of the
Trojan War which set an absolute limit on when Zeus and Prometheus the
father of Deukalion could have reigned which was accurate to +/- 5 years,
therefore I had no choice but to put the first Deukalion Flood/Ogygian
Deluge in 1625 BC, which was about 5 years after the date I calculated for
the Biblical flood using the figures given in the bible and about 40 years
from the date I calculated for the Biblical flood using a linear regression
which was less accurate. Since I assumed the Thera Erruption was in 1500 BC
+/-50 I thought the biblical dates were fucked from the start and I began to
doubt that there was even a first Deukalion flood. But then when I was
searching for the exact date which I hoped would be 1450 BC to coincide with
the second Deukalion Flood I found out that the old date for the Thera
Erruption was based on completely inaccurate archaeological discoveries and
that the Dendrochronological date for the Thera Erruption was 1628 BC, 3
years before the date I cacludated statisticaly, the Carbon dating was about
1650 BC and the Ice Core date was about 1610 BC, which proved that I was
completely accurate. After that a year later I reconstructed Eusebius,
Argive, Sicyonian and Argive king lists and showed that they fitted my
chronology perfectly and then in the third year after that after spending 3
months translating Jerome's Chronicon from Latin into English I found the
exact date given by Greek historians for the Ogygian Deluge in the years of
the reign of Inachus, and guess what, when I plugged the figure into my
existing list of kings reigns it came to exactly 1627.5 BC, which is withing
6 months of the Dendrochronological date for the Thera Erruption, which
categorically proved I was right, Jerome was right and the bible was right.
Not only that, but last year I discovered The Travels of Noe into Europe and
this proved that I was right about the biblical flood being based on the
Ogygian deluge and reinforced my chronology by dating the flood to 1625.5
BC. The line of kings of Italy from Janus II preserved in German, Spanish
and British historical accounts also corroborates my dating by placing the
flood in 1626.5 BC."

"Consider that language a moment. 'Purposefully and materially
supported hostilities against the United States' is in the eye of the
beholder, and this administration has proven itself to be astonishingly
impatient with criticism of any kind. The broad powers given to Bush by
this legislation allow him to capture, indefinitely detain, and refuse a
hearing to any American citizen who speaks out against Iraq or any other
part of the so-called 'War on Terror.'

"If you write a letter to the editor attacking Bush, you could be
deemed as purposefully and materially supporting hostilities against the
United States. If you organize or join a public demonstration against
Iraq, or against the administration, the same designation could befall
you. One dark-comedy aspect of the legislation is that senators or House
members who publicly disagree with Bush, criticize him, or organize
investigations into his dealings could be placed under the same
designation. In effect, Congress just gave Bush the power to lock them

the Bush administration is on the ropes. And so it is particularly
worrying that President Bush has seen fit, at this juncture to, in effect,

He does say "There were two of them" - more recently he's claimed
there were seven, all Phoenician kings, including the one who ruled
Canaan. We know he ruled Canaan, not because there is any evidence of
a pharoah or other ruler of that name, but because he gave the land to
the Hebrews - which by Aggylogic means he must have been a landlord
who owned title to the land at the time. The idea of a metaphor is
something Aggy fails to understand to this day - if the Hebrews
believed their god gave them a piece of land, said god must have been
a human who literally had the legal authority to give the land to
them.

No. Aggy tends to lapse into silence when he has been spanked utterly
senseless online and then resumes normal operations when he thinks
everyone has 'forgotten' about his previous drivel. He has kept this
pattern up quite consistently.

I'm really not interested at all, not one iota. Immediately upon reading
your first post into auk I consigned you to the mental ignore file on the
grounds that you were a boring prat who would not look out of place in a
warehouse full of empty cardboard boxes.

Hmmm... I just looked at some of your your posts. Of the nine I quickly
scanned, seven of them were you directly attempting to ingratiate yourself
with various posters by denigrating Aggy. The other two posts I looked at
that were written by you were 16 & 20KB epics of Jason and the Argonauts
size.

I shall keep my beady-eye on you. I have a knack for sniffing out
well-hidden, camouflaged closet k0oKs. You warrant closer inspection.

If you suspect that I suspect you are a k0oK, your suspicion is justified.

At the very least, there is evidence before me that reeks of mad obsession.

I guess lots of people just don't watch dateline or read stories much.
Why don;t you go to pervertedjustice, com and see what they do. They are
awash in their self-proclaimed glory after they lied to membners of the
public.
They are awash in their self-proclaimed glory after they posed as an
underage person and agreed to do all sorts of sex acts wioth adult
males, and they are adults posing as teenager themselves. They make
themsleves into liars by falsely impersonating underage persons and by
not fuilfilling the words they tell the victims online in their chats.
Why don't you read it where they tell these victims of their deceit
about how they have been with grown men and such? Why don't you read it
where they say, "That would be cool." after someone makes an advance
towards an adult who is posing as a teenager? And, where they agree to
meet the person, etc.
Lost control, didn't you?
Is that why you feel as if you need to lie so much now? I see where lots
of these false impersonation games are not sticking. They feel as if
they can lie and then order the victims to get counseling in the
gayblade, governmental, pro-choice tax leech counseling centers. They
are doing nothing more than usury and fraud in many cases." -- Wentzky

Heh - wondered if someone might say that, but I spend rather less time
in this universe than it might look. For a start, RADW represents
pretty much all the non-work time I spend online while Aggy, say,
seems to have time to match or exceed my output on this group, AND is
on goodness knows how many others. Secondly, mostly I'm online during
uneventful times at work when I can't get any real work (since my job
doesn't count) done anyway. Hence my weekend contributions being
rather more occasional.

Oh, I don't know. I thought it was a witty observation - until
Kadaitcha Man revealed a distinct lack of wit. Problem is, these guys
seem used to dealing with k00ks, and the sign of any true k00k is that
they take themselves seriously. Sorta doesn't work when they try and
needle someone and just get the response "Heh - good point. You're

Yes, perhaps it can be, if you're not the patient. However you are now the
patient and I am interested in you and your obsession. The tables have been
turned. I do not find what you are doing to be amusing, indeed I find you,
your behaviour and your mannerisms to be both creepy and disturbing.

Note that "your obsession" refers directly to your obsession, not to the
object of your obsession.

> Oh, not a bit of it. Denigrating Aggy is a thoroughly entertaining
> hobby in its own right.

Note how your obsession was highlighted and you deflected by minimising it
to a "hobby", whereupon the ring-in hobby was suddenly elevated to
unwarranted high standing. You need to perform your pathetic, self-deceptive
mental sleights of hand with much more finesse and aplomb if you want to get
them past me, Mister Bowles, up and coming official obsesso netk0oK.

> No, I suspect you don't have a sense of humour. I also suspect my

Most netk0oK patients find the trepanning process decidely lacking in humour
so that's hardly a surprising revelation you're having there.

>> At the very least, there is evidence before me that reeks of mad
>> obsession.

> Really? You've read my posts about frogs, then?

How very sneaky. You attempted to deflect attention from your highlighted
mad obsession, neither onto some foreign, distant, unrelated object, nor
onto the accuser, but onto your very own self and its unworthy, unimportant
non-achievements. Exceedingly sneaky. underhanded attention swapping indeed
that, however you got caught doing it so you will have to try harder next
time.

And yet, nonetheless, I find this exercise highly amusing. By not only
failing to get the joke but also insisting on trying to psychoanalyse
it, you're providing a very entertaining diversion for a few minutes.

and I am interested in you and your obsession.

Good for you. Now you know why I find the obsessions of cranks like
Aggy both funny and fascinatingly surreal. Keep this up and you'll
have a nice obsession to call your very own.

The tables have been

Well, this is getting encouragingly surreal, to be sure. Please do
elaborate.

My, you do like the look of your own typeface, don't you? This passage
alone looks as though it warrants inclusion in one of Snarky's sigs.

You need to perform your pathetic, self-deceptive

Now, again about what I was saying that k00ks have no sense of
humour...

*sigh* If you want to try playing the "k00kologist", might I ask what
you think the point is, if you aren't doing it for amusement's sake?
I'm quite happy to play along for as long as it's entertaining, but
you actually seem to be under the impression you're trying to do some
sort of serious public service. I just like taking the piss out of
cranks - a much more healthy attitude, I feel.

Oh well, if it makes you feel you've accomplished something by "seeing
through" a blatant irreverent aside, be my guest. I'm sure if you look
out of the window you'll make the equally revelatory discovery that
the sky is blue. The Dead Ringers lampoon of Ramara Motswe comes to
mind...

Pseudo-nonchalance and pseudo-equanimity; if you are perceived as the
easy-going guy who is completely innocent of any and all accusations then
maybe Snarky will don his shining suit of armour and come to your rescue.
You piss-poor damsel in distress.

So, Philip Bowles, how many years or months has Aggy-poking been your

did you get it from Indecipherable Net Squiggle or from me?

You became unwitty when it was clear you were intending it as a weak

"Stalking him"? Aggy's the only fun nut around here at the moment;

important sophists.

Pretty on and off since I got here, I think - actually it started out
as an objection to his pseudo-intellectual gibberings, before I
realised quite how funny he could be. Sadly, this place isn't as good
for nutcases as rec.games.miniatures.warhammer used to be, or even
sci.bio.paleontology. John Shocked was a fun diversion during my brief
spell on the Battlestar Galactica group, though.

Hmmm? And how many fleeting moments have you

It's getting better all the time. Keep up the good work.

"contempt and scorn"? I never fail to be bewildered by the way people
ascribe emotional judgments to behaviour. And fascinated - do people
really invest emotion in everything they say and do? As far as I'm
concerned Aggy may as well not exist - silly posts, whoever they come
from, are just a vehicle for me to make comments I find funny; if
other people do as well that's an added bonus, but any effect on the
target is incidental and as far as I'm concerned immaterial - if they
don't take it in a light-hearted spirit or realise I'm taking the piss
I put that down to thin skin on their part.

Yes, I know just what it's like to have someone ding the frothing for
you on a Sunday. There's a full-blown head of steam building up in the
kitchen as we speak. I'm quietly reminiscing about medieval times

If that's the one with moaning myrtle and the paving slab then it was
on earlier. We've also had Potter with Tennant and identity-changing
potions and two-man tents that are huge inside... must've been that
glass of mineral water somebody gave me last night.

Love & Monsters; the one before Fear Her and the terminal decline in
season 2 quality it represented. And it must be bad if you think of
the actors in terms of Harry Potter characters...

Not sure I remember that one. Damn! I'll have to watch the wretched
things again before the one that comes on later this year, and only
the first and third ones were any good.

I'm quite enjoying the frothing; it has the same 'weird logic' appeal

I'm only obsessive enough to collect *my own* posting history, meaning I
can glance through it for old threads in which I took part. It took a
few minutes with google groups (search for 'defied ancestors') and the

Well, it's true -- he is. I made the observation sometime last year, IIRC,
around the time he was nominated for the Hammer of Thor, or perhaps when
he won the thing. It's one of his specialities, and he's _very_ good at
it. We've been colleagues in kookology for close to three years, and I've
had lots of opportunity to observe his efforts in that area.

Just as a thought, often other people indicate complete disinterest

You could, you know, if you were _actually_ disinterested, just not

He seems remarkably easy to wind up for someone having the fun. And
for the moment I'm quite enjoying a new toy now Aggy's got stale and
more-or-less silent. This seems to be one of his 'Trole' days, though
- I feel sure I've seen some of his posts that make a bit more sense

AUK because of Aggy's kookiness, where you're coming down on Aggy for

"in the making", eh? I've been winding up cranks for 15-odd years now,
and run into a few choice ones in my time (though I tended to ignore
Jean-Paul Turcaud on the paleontology group - while his babble about
"the true gogology" was fun for those not in the know, when he turned
out to be a rabidly anti-Semitic, xenophobic nutcase he became rather
less amusing. Wasted a fair bit of time on Jabriol back in the day,
though).

Hold on, I've cracked it. This is some sort of induction test, right?
Kadaitcha's impressions of various usenuts is an exam to see how much
of the k00kery I pick up on? Blatant giveaways like "Project a sense
of clueless into your attacker" ("LEAR TO SPEAK ENGLISH!",
Kadaitcha!), gleeful snips from context, logic so faulty it must be
deliberate and the Porch Monkey delusions of grandeur are all pretty
big clues - if that were Kadaitcha's normal modus operandi it's hard
to see any AUKers sticking up for him as anything but a classic k00k.

Hello fellow netizens.

My 8th grade class has been doing a summer grant research project on
Internet social interactions and the general lack of civility on usenet as a
whole as it seems to correlate to a general breakdown of civility in real
life, especially with our "younger" generation. While FPS-type gaming seems
to have some impact, newsgroup participants seem to have higher rates of
arrest, conviction, and recidivism as well as profoundly higher mortality
and disease rates at much younger ages than do the control populations
observed. Additionally, some upstate and lower Canadian insane asylums are
teaching usenet participation as avoidance therapy and anger management in
order to meet more stringent budget guidelines and continue to appear to be
providing services.

Prior to submitting our findings for publication and our "Honors
Research College Credit" we were allowed to submit our findings to the
entire student body who voted by secret ballot on various catagories defined
within the study groups. The student commission felt your groups might be
interested in these results, thus we are providing them for your review and
contemplation. We hope you find this sampling helpful. Eastmont HS Class

Biggest back-stabbing closeted gay - "Penn...@DerryMaine.gov"

Biggest and probably fattest definite gay - "§ñühwØ£f", "Mr. Arnold",
"Leythos"

Biggest poser, cowardly communicator and "luzer" - "Archie Leach",
"catchme"

Biggest waste of resources on Planet Earth - "|><\(\(\((@> ", "Kadaitcha

Most obviously retarded calling others retarded - "Archie Leach", "Snarky"

Most obviously retarded kooks calling others kooks - "Archie Leach",
"Snarky"

Most sock-puppets or alternate IDs/sources - approximately 20-way tie,
statistically moot

Gayest - "§ñühwØ£f"

Stupidest - "§ñühwØ£f", "Lookout"

Probably ugliest - "§ñühwØ£f"

Probably academically slowest, or never graduated - "§ñühwØ£f"

Most likely had abusive or no father - approximately 20-way tie,
statistically moot

Most likely had abusive or opressive mother - "§ñühwØ£f"

Probably eats cat food - "VanguardLH", "§ñühwØ£f", "Mr. Arnold", "Leythos",
"Archie Leach", "catchme"

Almost surely eats his own soiled diapers - "§ñühwØ£f", "Archie Leach"

Additionally, a group of 27 "gays" objected to using "gay" or its
variations to label these usenet characters because they strongly felt it
gave all gays a bad name.

Again additionally, a group of 14 special education students objected to
using "retard" or its variations to describe usenet characters because they
strongly felt, as express by and through their counselor, that this gave all
the retards a bad name.

All but 2 of 1139 students thought that "Snarky" was both retarded and gay.
The other 2 were excused on hall passes for water fountain. And the same
numerical ratio thought that "§ñühwØ£f" and "Archie Leach" were escaped
either from prison or from mental institutions. Those 2 were excused on
office passes for emergent personal communications regarding personal
business.

All 1139 students agreed that "Snarky" could NOT find his "pope" with a
magnifying glass and tweezers and that's the reason he is so mean and
probably takes medications for mental disorders, bladder disorders, heart
disorders, and personality disorders and then drinks too much as well!

Do you suppose that any of your flailing accusations wrt alleged

Find me on Google Maps: 24°39'47.13"S, 134°4'20.18"E

vinaigrette in fearful chipmunk rectum, arranged in a cooling saucepan
brimming with dog-eared particles of carrot in dog pee, a side of grains
and a cup of hot meerkat serum.
