1. River babbles on about "time distortions", then the TARDIS can't
materialise. I bounces off 1938.
Then he needs a "landing beacon" to lock onto. Well, that was novel.
2. Amy has often complained about the Doctor not visting them for
ages. Also events of episode 4
spanned a long time, so "now" for Amy must have crept up to 2015 or
so. But they were in NY in 2012.
3. When Amy sacrifices herself to the graveyard angel, the Doctor
warns her that he can never visit
her. What is the rule to prevent this? There has been plenty of
crossing timelines before.
Moffat is just making up bollocks on the run. I had expected the
ending would involve Amy saying
"I can call you on my phone, then you can come get us!" Then she
arrives in 1930s and finds she
will have to wait about 50 years until a compatible battery charger is
produced.
