Not a simple question. When I was younger, and watching Dr Who on
American TV, it would have been Baker, hands down. Now, with the
SciFi (or, if you must, SyFy) channel carrying the show, I would guess
Tennant is probably more popular.

I have no idea what the breakdown would be in the UK.

I consider them to be separate but equal :) . Much like, say, the
remake of
Battlestar Galactica, I think of the new Who as a slightly updated
series, which
is what I think I am supposed to think. That said, I do like how they
have continued
to throw in little bits from the old series for us old timers. I do
wish they would
explore the TARDIS a bit more, those were some of my favorite of the
old series.

So, that said, I think Tennant was great, but Tom still has the edge
in my book.
Time may change this.
