Looks like a big impression. What are some of his works to date?

Why am I not surprised it is you who is asking this question? Are
you aware of wikipedia?

Michael Moorcock is one of the most well-known SF/Fantasy writers and
editors that Britain has produced. He has won the World Fantasy Award,
Nebula Award, John W. Campbell Memorial Award, multiple British Fantasy
Awards, the Guardian Fiction Prize (a mainstream award). He is a SFWA
Grandmaster.

You may have heard of Elric. I am sure you remember people talking about
_Behold The Man_ which is about a time-traveller who returns to the time of
Christ, finds that Jesus is a retarded hunchback and decides to take on
the role for himself.

Didn't he also write a novelistaion of the Great Rock'n'Roll Swindle
featuring the Sex Pistols travelling in time?

Yeah it was supposed to be a novelisation (actually a novella-isation)
of the film. It did have a lot of good stuff in it but with the typical
Moorcockian weirdness - it features Jerry Cornelius for example.
Apparently he wrote it in 10 days and I would have thought that the
original 11"x14" newspaper style edition (which was given away free) is
worth a fair bit now.
