I have certain rumours dealing with certain phallic images on the
cover of the video for _The Little Mermaid_. I know Walt Disney Co.
is a family-oriented establishment, but I would just like to know
if this is another urban myth. Please emial me if you have no idea
what I am talking about. I doubt that it is appropriate to discuss it
here. Thanx in advance.

BTW, Beauty and the Beast was awesome. My girlfriend and I loved it,
and we're both 19!!!!

The cover of the video for "The Little Mermaid" does indeed have
a phallus somewhere on it (I have not said where, so those that have
never seen it can go home and play "Where's Dick", kinda like
"Where's Waldo"). The movie itself has a *much* more graphic image
in a slightly different place.

As I understand it the artist did it to get back at Disney. He was
fired when Disney was confronted with the news. I may be wrong on
this point.

Its no big deal.

What I heard was that the artist was fired after completing the initial artwork
(sans penis), then airbrushed in the objet affreux to relieve his feelings. I
am told, as "proof," that about half of the editions of that particular artwork
don't have his last-minute addition in it.

... Looks like I'll have to go back and check the movie over again... what
graphic image dost thou speak of?
