Made another visit to MK yesterday especially to spend more time in the
new Fantasyland and have lunch there again.
Rode Little Mermaid again and had coffee in the morning at the tavern.
I just can't wait to see this area fully completed. I think it is
visually a treat and will open up Fantasyland as a whole so much.

Did the mountains and PeopleMover and Buzz and CoP and Country bears.
Did they re fur a couple of the bears? I thought the piano playing bear
looked like he was sporting a new fur coat :)
and also one other...maybe liver lips?

Also did Haunted mansion and peter pan, and Philharmagic. Crowds were
decently low so was able to pack a lot in.

Went back To Be our Guest for lunch about 2:30. Significantly larger
crowds there then my visit last week, but I was also eating later in the
day than I did before. This time I tried the braised pork with
vegetables. It comes served over mashed potatoes and I tried to order
it without those, but it was not possible for he CM to order it that way
for me.
I enjoyed it very much, even with pushing the potato aside. It was a
very flavorful dish and I would order it again.
i was able to see the dining room pretty packed with guests, and while
food delivery was slower than last time becasue of the crowds, it still
worked fine and they found me without a problem.
Hope they can find a way to customize an order for a guest, but I will
def. be back.
This is very good counter service food, based on my 2 visits.

Yes, I heard they had been re-fur-bished.

Tell him, "If you dream it, you can do it"

Or have him watch "Five Easy Pieces."

Yes. The attraction has been 'updated' and shortened.

Wait. You were able to ride things? I was just there less than a month
ago and it was only open to CMs. Man I hate my timing. :(

Luckily I'll go again in Feb. :)

Personally I was disapointed in what I see so far at New
fantasyland.... Harry has nothing to worry about in my mind. Not
impressed with Little Mermaid ride at all. I expected more from

Hmm, they need to fix that! Even if it's easy enough to eat around the
item you don't want, it's just wasteful. This also reminds me of the
time I was at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street. I wanted mint
chocolate chip ice in a waffle bowl. The CM said she couldn't do that
-t he waffle bowl only comes with a sundae. So I asked what comes on a
sundae, and she said it had my choice of ice cream, nuts, hot fudge,
whipped cream and a cherry on top. I then proceeded to order a sundae,
with mint chocolate chip ice cream, hold the fudge, hold the nuts, and
hold the whipped cream and cherry. She started keying that into the
register and then it dawned on her...

I went into Cracker Barrel once while I had a craving for chicken and
dumplings. With your meal you could choose two sides so I chose chicken
dumplings with chicken dumplings and chicken dumplings. The server could
not understand and thought I wanted three dinners and kept asking me
what sides I wanted. The manager came over and tried to tell me that I
didn't understand that I was ordering three dinners. So we went through
it slowly...I ordered chicken dumplings and pointed to the menu where it
said a side of dumplings and a second side. She said (again) that that
made three dinners. I ordered sides for the other two people in the
group and they both ordered a side of dumplings to make it simple for them.

Olive Garden has an appetizer sampler where you can have any three
appetizers. We get strange looks when we order three sets of their stuffed
mushrooms.

I can't remember where I was, but we tried to do that and they pointed
out that there was a limitation of only two of the same item per
platter! (We were trying to get all wings).
