Unfortunately, no, it's not hard to imagine that scenario. And in
situations like that, I suspect either one of two extremes would happen.
In a non-Disney environment, she'd be arrested for harassing the
driver, but at Disney, she'd get her FP's plus some other rewards, all
in the name of "guest recovery".

You should have taken two - on properly framed, then a funny one with
the tall guy's head cut off. I think they would have had a nice laugh
over that.

Or maybe they are worried about the environmental impact where the birds
eat it and get sick. And although it should be, unfortunately that's
not the case with Pecos Bill.

Hey, at least this wasn't your "once in a lifetime big family trip to
WDW". Think of all those people! I think this is why a lot of
maintenance was done at night int he good old days.

Optimist.

Yeah, we're probably just lucky they keep it going. Still, an update to
the last scene might be nice to bring that cutting-edge technology into
the 21st century at least.

Kind of like people who face the rear of the elevator.

It's funny how that has always been such a novelty, but now that I know
I can go see it on YouTube anytime day or night, it;s not that big a
deal anymore. Sigh. Just another thing technology has ruined for us.

You know, I'll bet if you went back and asked nicely, they'd have given
her the broccoli. I guess in a way I hate to do that sort of thing when
it;s my mistake, but with the amount of money you;ve spent over the
years at WDW, I think you might just be entitled.

I can see both sides of this argument, but I actually liked both
versions. I'm not sure what I hate more: that Gilbert Gottfried had to
be so rude and ruin the new show, or that we can't forgive someone for
having a poor sense of humor in things like that.

It could be worse - it could have been New Jersey!

You know, I'm surprised the driver didn't just take them to DHS,
especially since it was just you and them, and it isn't really that far
from the YC/BC.

I was wondering if that eBay auction was for real...

LOL! I don't know if it's better than my "replace one meal with a
protein bar" diet, but at least it sounds more fun.

Booo! Bad move, Disney!

Kids at the mall have started doing this. I just plow right through. I
had one girl actually start to mouth off at me about it until a mall cop
walked by. He gave me a nod(the "good" nod).

No, you are right. I think it serves two purposes - crowd control (in
terms of both making traffic more manageable and directing traffic to
certain attractions and shops) and theme ambiance.

Maybe they are reformed Amish? I know that they do allow their young
adults to go out in the world to explore things for themselves. Maybe
that's who you saw?

BMW doesn't drive every car out of the factory at over 100mph, yet I've
not heard of anyone buying one that wouldn't go that fast.

It's probably because you are now retired and see your time as less
valuable. Either that, or you are getting so old, that 40 minutes now
seems like 20. (Hey, you brought up the getting old stuff, remember?)

Maybe she was thinking you'd use it for another ride? I know just one
FP might not do a group any good, but I guess we could say it's

Why such a hurry to miss Illuminations? I thought you liked it?

Oh, I see.

I think he's not telling the truth. At least not about the "unlimited"
part.
