I've been trying to find the dates for this year's Epcot Flower and
Garden Festival but am having no luck. We will be at WDW May 24-27
and was wondering if we will be able to catch any of the special
programs. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival - April 19 - June 2
Budding gardeners get in the weeds, ladybugs take flight and elaborate
floral displays adorn the landscape at the Epcot International Flower
& Garden Festival April 19 through June 2, 2002. To celebrate the
horticultural tradition begun by Walt Disney the entertainment icon at
the heart of the year-long 100 Years of Magic celebration -- Epcot
each year hosts one of the largest flower and garden parties on the
planet. Now in its ninth year, the six-week salute to the beauty and
joys of gardening is a fitting tribute to the man who wouldn't build a
theme park without landscape perfection.
Some special events within the festival: the Mother's Day Invitational
Flower Show (May 10-12) and Kids Weekend (May 24-27). And guests
shouldn't miss the Flower Power concert series featuring memorable
acts from the '60s and '70s such as The Turtles, Starship and Arlo
Guthrie.

This is the line-up for this year so far:

Davy Jones (April 19 - 21)
Orleans (April 25 - 28)
Turtles (May 03 - 05)
John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band (May 08 - 09)
Paul Revere & The Raiders (May 10 - 12)
Classic Rock All Stars (May 15 - 16)
Starship featuring Mickey Thomas (May 17 - 20)
The Grass Roots starring Rob Grill (May 21 - 23)
Arlo Guthrie (May 24 - 26)
The Nelsons (May 30 - June 02)

New bands may be added later. I'm keeping the list up to date on my
site on the America Gardens Theater link on the Epcot schedule.

Thanks Steve, it sounds like pretty much the same lineup as the past couple of
