I recall awhile back, someone asking about who the
choreographer
was for the GAP commercials and I can pass on that
Marguerite
Derricks was the creator of Khaki A Go-Go as well as the
choreographer for Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.

Is this US TV guide? Can you tell me some of what it says please? I'm in
Britain and just have to know some more about the main guy in the Go-Go
commercial.

I'd thought that it was Toni Basil, of "hey Mickey" fame, that did all
that choreography...she did That Thing You Do as well.

Not according to the article, "Coaching Gap dancers
and giving the shagmeister his groove has made her
one hot choreographer", written by Bob Thompson.

...appeared in the The Province, July 1, 1999.

This article describes Marguerite's backgound
including:

"[Mike]Myers hired her to do the first
Austin Powers movie, which led to the
second film and eventually to The Gap
ad."
