We are changing the date of our 4th Saturday dance next month.
(Details below). It will now be the DAY AFTER Christmas - December
26th, which is in fact the 4th Saturday... NOT Dec. 5th as originally
advertised. (We will NOT be having a November dance, due conflict
with the U.S. Open Swing Championships in Anaheim.)

Speaking of which, see you all at the Open on Thanksgiving weekend -
make sure you come and cheer for all your friends dancing in the Open,
especially in the awesome Masters Division (hehe)! Hope to see
everyone at Atomic, Press Box, Danscene & TC's this weekend for a
little preview of some of the routines.

Don't forget to mark your calendar for Dec. 26th in Lomita! See you
there!

“ ... The skill of a DJ is not simply in having good songs, but in
knowing how and when to play them. Reading a crowd; balancing
different speeds and styles, old and new songs; making sure everyone
goes home having heard at least some of what they love; making a party
"happen"- THIS is what a DJ does. Otherwise, as Kenny (Wetzel) might
have said (more colorfully), why hire a DJ at all instead of just
having a juke box?” ....DJDK
