Another Beefwit bites the dust

I can't really articulate why this strip is the final straw for me. Is
it because we're digressing from (what passes for) the plot for another
episode of "Professor Horndog and Her Milquetost Fucktoy?" Is it
because this has made it perfectly clear that women in
McElWordswordswords' universe have three emontional settings "Bitchy",
"Horny" and "Crazy?" Is it because I could give a good goddamn about
any of the characters now?

Is it because of the increasingly strong feeling I have that McEldowney
is trying (and failing) to write some sort of ribald farce, but can't
grasp that GOOD farces have something to say other than "These are all
horrible stupid poeple?"

I'll probably check in via snark sites, but my days as a regular reader
are over.

To be fair to McEldowney, it has become equally clear that Bitchy, Horny,
and Crazy are his own emotional settings; like every storyteller, he
creates characters in his own image.
