Comics
Jul. 24, 2008
How important are comics to newspapers? How long have newspapers
printed comics? How do they choose which ones will be published and
which ones will be removed? And how do readers react to all of this?
We’ll speak with someone from the News-press about their Comics Page,
and how important comics are to people’s daily lives. We’ll also try
to look into the future of comics in newspapers…as many papers
continue to shrink.

Enjoy

The big corporations are suddenly taking notice of the web, and their
reactions have been slow. Even the computer industry failed to see the
importance of the Internet, but that's not saying much. Let's face it,
the computer industry failed to see that the century would end

My appoligies, the station is running the national feed (talk of the
nation) instead of the local show. It may be available as a podcast
after the fact.
