I think I'm liking the killer wolf piece more than the vampire
thread (which is an amusing idea and has given some good punch lines
but I'm not sure it has anywhere to go) right now.

They might be part of the same thread; vampires and werewolves have
been famous rivals! Also, while known for turing into bats, vampires
can also turn into other animals, at least in most mythologies . . .

=v= Anne Rice's novels didn't get bad until they attempted to
create a profound backstory for all of vampirism (with added
with-universe crossover stories!!!11111). This ain't nowhere
near that. This is actually quite interesting and funny.
=v= (Maybe I'm just too durned hip (doubtful) but I thought
more along the lines of Buffy than Lestat.)

I still like the wolf piece more, even though they are (none too
surprisingly) converging based on today's strip.
The artwork's really good today, along the side of things. It's
usually quite good, but today was above even that standard.
