Runaways (Vol 2) #23 - "Live Fast, Part Two" (Writer: Brian
K. Vaughan, Penciler: Adrian Alphona, Inker:
Craig Yeung, Colorist: Christina Strain)

Chase reveals his plan to get Gert back, and the rest of the Runaways
become alerted to what he's trying to do.

The issue is my Pick of the Week by default, of course. In particular,
I'm relieved that Chase's decision made sense as he explained it - I
was
worried from the cliffhanger that it just wasn't rational. So, with
my
major worry out of the way, I could just enjoy what happened.

The issue probably doesn't satisfy like the last issue, possibly in
part
due to the lack of a good cliffhanger - although I do want to see how
the plot ends, obviously, the issue doesn't end in a way that makes me
can't wait to just see what happens _next_, like the last one did.
Still, the lack of a definite cliffhanger probably means less space in
the next issue wrapping one up.

The issue does set up some interesting circumstances with Molly, and
it's good to see a certain subplot with Victor hasn't been forgotten.
On the whole enjoyable, but doesn't end with the same oomph.
