just want to see what others like.
I like Rogue Trooper [Friday], ABC crew and FINNFINNFINNFINN.
[and Revere and Dredd and........]

Anderson - Psi Division.

Hands-down, my favorite stuff ever in it was Nemesis. Mills is
brilliant. While the quality of the Dredd stories varies,
they're generally very good (as are the Judge Anderson solos).
Halo Jones and Skizz were great, too. And DR & Quinch.
Finn is shaping up pretty well... when I first saw the first part,
I was worried that Pat Mills was trying to re-create Nemesis... the
resemblence between Finn with the horned helmet on and Nemesis
was strong, and Mills was playing up on the "make use of your
dark side" theme that he loves. He's taking Finn in a completely
different (well, mostly different :-) direction, though. So far,
no complaints. The artwork is certainly great!
Friday is OK as Rogue, though I'll miss the old Rogue with the
bio-chips (yeah, I know it was kinda hokey, but it's one of the
first 2000 AD stories I ever read).
Slaine was great... Bisley did some of his best work ever on it. While
I like what he did with Lobo, at times his over-exaggerated grphics
became a little over-over-exaggerated. In Slaine, he seemed to know
when to back off (and when to cover the page with blood...)
There have been some really awful stories, though, too... Harlem heroes
comes to mind, along with some of the Dredd stories, and ABC warriors
(all the versions). for some reason, they really grate on my nerves.
Some of the Sam Slade stories were a little forced, too.
What about all the old classics like ANT WARS, Meltdown Man
and Shako? :-)
No the best stories have to be one's with John Wagner at his
best: Dredd, Chopper etc. also anything by John Smith has
been excellent recently...
I've been reading 2000AD since I was seven! I'm now twenty-Two.
The quality is not always great and some of the more recent
stories have been dodgy (Millar's Sam Slade, New Rogue Trooper)
2000AD always week-in, week-out has something that catches my
attention.
What more can you ask for in a comic?
Dazza
Oh Yeah -- What do you think of the JUDGE DREDD: THE MEGAZINE,
especially DEVLIN WAUGH: SWIMMING IN BLOOD? John Smith at his
best?
>Hmmm, favorite 2000 AD stuff... tricky, there's so much of it :-)

Guess who are coming back to 2000 AD -- The Biochips.
The War Machine (Written by Dave Gibbons Art by Will Simpson was the best
ever Rogue story. It looked like the new rouge trooper would be brilliant.
Enter the new writer (my mind has gone blank I can't remember his name)
He has messed up completley and the new Rogue has easily become IMHO the
worst ever 2000 AD story.

Hmm The first series of Harlem Heroes was pretty good. The new one had potential
but was wasted. I don't recall any awful Dredd stories except maybe the story
lines in the first few. The ABC warriors has always been a favourite and always
will. The early Slade was Brilliant, hillarious at times and is sadly missed
along with Ace Garp (another classic).
I have to agree though that there have been some terrible stories.
To name a few : Dry Run, Tae De Moto, Zippy Couriers, Moon Runners,
Chronos Carnival and Junker.
Some of the best : Dredd (Of course), Nemises (especially the earlier books)
Anderson, Dr & Quinch, Strontium Dog and the recent Button Man.
The current Megazine and Judge Dredd cross over 'Judgement Day' could possibly
be the best Dredd ever, even the best 2000 AD story ever. If possible buy both
(2000 AD) and the Megazine just for this story.

Yeah, the recent stories have been rather good - Shamballa had some absolutley
gorgeous Arther Ransome art and an interesting plot, and Engram was pretty damn
good too. Apart from that, most of her stories have been pretty standard Dredd-
type fare.
I must admit, I should have guessed that it *had* to Bisley who first showed
us Anderson nude... :-)
