Greg Land Signs Exclusive Deal with CrossGen; Begins in Jan. 2001
Posted Thursday, October 5, 2000 by Ed Mathews

On September 21, 2000, negotiations began between CrossGen Comics and Greg Land
to become the next artist to join their company. Today, it is apparently a done
deal. Greg Land, who is best known for his work on Birds of Prey and Nightwing
for DC, is the latest in a series of big name writers and artists to move to
Tampa in the past year, including JLA scribe Mark Waid. Land's exclusive
contract with CrossGen begins in January 2001.

DC Comics had no official comment at the time of this article.

More comments to come from CrossGen later in the day.
