... right?

all these millennia)

More to the Hulk comparison, a REBOOT--
He's in NYC, John Travolta isn't the villain, he's got military weapons,
and he's not trying to help fat guys and stoners.

So it is basically Hamlet with automatic weapons?

How does a reboot differ from a remake?
-- Ken from Chicago
A remake HOPES you'll remember the original...

And on the THIRD attempt at a Punisher movie, they finally decided to
make him somewhat like the comic-book character! I see they've got
Jigsaw and Microchip in this one (as represented by Dominic West and
Newman from Seinfeld, respectively...though it might be even awesom-
ier if it were the other way round), so, maybe third time's the charm
here. If not, well maybe they're determined to keep rebooting until it
works?
Really, I hadn't noticed them in the trailer.
-- Ken from Chicago
Oh they're not in the trailer...at least Microchip isn't. I think
that's Dominic West outside the building near the beginning of the
trailer.
Maybe McNulty should retire to the countryside or go overseas, like maybe to
Sparta ... or not.
-- Ken from Chicago
Dunno, I'd pay extra to see Ray Stevenson go legionary on Travolta's
grill.

I find myself curious as to what kind of video game COULD be adapted from
TDTESS.

I'm more puzzled why Rich is dissing a film that's guaranteed to be
one of the most balls-out gratuitously violent flicks of the year.
Isn't that pretty much his bread and butter?

Well, that's why he was running out of index cards, and had to use the
one he misfiled in the wrong drawer after "Speed Racer"--
Normally he could pull out Main Header 2-J, "Comic book movies", but
what happens when it's a violent R-rated one, and applicable under
Cross-Reference 4-C, "R is better than PG-13"?...
So, rather than quibble heading classifications, he just closed his eyes
reached into the index file, and pulled out the default favorite.
Next he'll say it's a Disney movie, and should've had Arabs in it.
Derek Janssen (the file drawer does need to be a bit updated)
