The Phoenix already is an energy being who mutates into human form.
Maybe she could leave Jean Grey alone next time and try Techno-Warlock-
Phoenix form instead.

Maybe the Phoenix should come back as a cute little bunny...who
wouldn't want to see the Dark Phoenix Bunny?

I think she should mutate into an energy DRINK. Those things are very
lucrative right now, and the marketing possibilities are endless.

Remember when Jean Grey was Phoenix "Rapper" when Claremont was back on the
book like ten years ago?

Maybe the combo of Jean Grey and Phoenix should always be permanent. Only
from time to time she jumps from host to host like Phoenix does already (and
beings like Malice). Maybe she could possess Scott and/or Emma. :-D

Sounds formidable.

How about we combine the two and the Phoenix comes back as the
Energizer Bunny?

Stargate Universe SGU: It puts the "U" in "SUCKS"!
It's the show 'Defiling Gravity' would be if DG had more regulars,
fewer abortions, worse writers, and no budget for lighting.
Remember, you can't spell "disgust" without SGU!

Stop giving him ideas!! Although this one is already on Doug Ramsey's
very private cross-over wish list....

Probably either a certain cowboy...
-
Cowboy: Stay outa my victory garden ya flamin' long-eared galoot!!
-
a certain sportman who once owned a mansion and yacht...
-
Hunter: Now I gotcha, you, you...

[the hunter's long-eared prey begins to increase its size and
temperature]

...you...

[until it reveals its true phospherescent form]
[The hunter flashes an innocent grin]
[and wiggles his fingers at the creature]

Hunter: Hewwo.
-
Or a certain darn fool duck...
-
[A large backdraft is heard off screen]
[and a certain character exits the stage]
[looking more than a little charred]

Duck: That's IT!! I'm through playing stooge to that rabbit! I quit!!
-

Should I mention a soon-to-disgruntled audience who hates those sorts of
'invincible annoyances'?

I think we can all do the proverbial 'math' ^_^

would make for the strangest romances?'

I'm sure that Ruby Gloom and Shuma-Gorath would be on that list. ~_^

But I mean have Jean Grey and Phoenix become one, instead of having
human form, they would become an energy lifeform like LivingLaser!

I'd pay to see that animated in front of the next Marvel movie.

I don't see how Dark Phoenix powers make Bugs Bunny any more
invincible of an annoyance. Cartoon characters are pretty invincible
already.

Case in point: If Dark Phoenix fought Piglet in the Hundred Acre
Wood, who would win? Sure, Dark Phoenix has all those energy powers,
but Piglet is an avatar of fantasy on his home ground, linked to
fundamental forces such as the Te of Piglet, the likes of which no
Marvel Comics character can ever comprehend. 8{D>

HOW much?! (just kidding) ~_^

Actually, thank you for the compliment.

Unfortunately, this type of animated brilliance probably won't happen
anytime soon (unless Warner Bros and Disney are still taking pot-shots at
each other)

Actually some studios have changed the rules since the Golden Age of
Animation - characters have been injured or even killed off during their
series' broadcast.

The characters also have the narrator on their side - if an outside
character invades the current story, he (along with the writers and
animators) could a improvise a solution to the problem
