Does it have to be a different title? Other movies have been made with
the same name but which were completely unrelated (not re-makes). I
would rather they use Avengers in the title in some manner.
As for cast, I guess I'd have to go with Cap, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Scarlet
Witch, and Quicksilver. Maybe Thor. I like Wasp, but I'm not sure if
she'd sell. She-Hulk might be an interesting choice.
From the story I read, it'll also be based more on the Ultimates than the
traditional Avengers.
So mark your calenders for sometime in 2030.

Well, you'd have at least one big gun, because only certain movie
companies aretypically interested in making a superhero/comics movie, and
so chances are that oneoftheother companies willhave also boughtthe rights
to the Avengers. And you could use the Avengers names. "The Avengers" is a
rather weak trademark for these purposes. It's an actual English word.
It's history in both franchises dates back to roughly the sametime. The
premises are so different that likelihood of confusion is minimal. They
might call it "The Marvel Avengers" but that would be more toget ridof the
stinkfrom the movie.

Someone asked earlier, what movie should never be made. If we're stuck
with anyone other than The Big Guns as Avengers, this movie probably
tops the list.

Short of Tigra, isn't that the line-up from the cheesy "United We Stand"
cartoon?
1: Captain America. Although not a founding member, he quickly became THE
super hero name associated with the group.
2 & 3: She-Hulk and Black Panter, Power and Money, if licencing allows.
alternate 2 & 3: Thor (or Thunderstrike if they don't want an actual 'god')
& Iron Man if that falls through.
4 & 5: Scarlet Witch & Wasp: Gotta have at least two hot chicks. I might
swap one with Spider-Woman, but it kinda cramps on the Spider-Man movies.
6: Rage or Justice: For much the same reasons as Rouge in the X-Men movies.
7: Jarvis. It would be like leaving Alfred out of a Batman movie!
Who to not bring:
Hercules: Waaayyy too much baggage.

Cap
Hawkeye (the anti-hero thing kind of like Logan in the X-men)
Scarlet Witch
Wasp
Vision
Wonderman
I would have said put Hank Pym in there, but that would mean 3/4 of
the men would be blue eyed and blond which is not a great combination
for viewer identification
Though *personally* I'd prefer the movie to have..
Hawkeye
Jolt
Moonstone
Atlas
Dallas Riordan/ Vantage/ Citizen V
Techno/Fixer
Songbird
;-))))

"The Mighty Avengers" or "Avengers, Earth's Mightiest Super-Heroes".
Something like that.
I was going to do a list of characters who could not be used (because
Marvel would prefer to sell them in their own feature film), then list
the remaining characters. The problem is, any character who might be
worthwhile in the Avengers could probably be good in a solo movie
(with the right creators), and Marvel's not going to forfeit the
chance for a solo blockbuster because of a team movie.
Take Wonder Man. In the right hands, he could be as big as
Spider-Man. His origin ties him to the Avengers, so the comic fans
wouldn't be happy about any new origin.
Hawkeye has potential, too.
We're looking at characters who can't even be rated as second string,
now.
>1: Captain America. Although not a founding member, he quickly became THE

Had his own television show. Forget it.
>2 & 3: She-Hulk and Black Panter, Power and Money, if licencing allows.
She-Hulk infringes on Hulk. Black Panther could stand alone.
>alternate 2 & 3: Thor (or Thunderstrike if they don't want an actual 'god')
>& Iron Man if that falls through.
Iron Man is definite solo property. Thunderstrike might work.
>4 & 5: Scarlet Witch & Wasp: Gotta have at least two hot chicks. I might

Spider-Woman would definitely incroach on the Spider-Man license.
Scarlet Witch is a mutant, so probably belongs to the X-Men franchise.
>6: Rage or Justice: For much the same reasons as Rouge in the X-Men movies.
Rogue. So we've got Thunderstrike, Wasp (throw in Giant/Ant Man),
Rage or Justice. I smell blockbuster!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Note the sarcasm implied by the excessive use of exclamation marks.)

Unless you're talking about being sued by Disney, what baggage? Hey
look, it's Hercules the Roman (or is it Greek) demi-god. End of back
story.

IIRC Hercules is the Roman name, Heracles is the Greek name.
