A. Document Descriptions
Part 1: Has the introduction to these reprint documents, contact information, and update information. Part 2: Lists the issues of the FF and just how they are reprinted (books, etc.). Beppe Sabatini did a lot of work compiling the initial list in Amazing Heroes #20. Ken Arromdee (who maintains a great X-Men reprint list) made me aware of the list and forwarded it to me for my first version. Part 3: This document. If "other" appears in the reprints section for a book, this means that stories from books other than the FF are included. If it doesn't have an ISB #, then it was a comic issue or series. It's possible since I don't yet have it, either. I pulled it from some solicitation info I saw and I may have misread it. I do see something that shouldn't be in there and that's the "other" under reprints. Oops!

Yup, they originally solicited the book as going through no. 62, however they did indeed sneak in issue 63. It just barely fits, too - the 25 stories & covers total 527 pages, leaving only 1 free page for credits, etc.

Great! At this rate, Volume 5 should have the last of this great Kirby run issue series at 102. I'd suck to be denied the last two or three issues and have them used in the next volume.
Plus where is the Essential FF volume 1 reprint? Marvel solicited it the same week the first issue of the new X-man came out. Yet no store has it, and there has been no mention of it!
I did see the reprint of Spidey volume 3, and it uses the great new cover format! So I guess all the second editions of previous books will also use this format. It's the same pics, just enlarged and better designed on the page now.

Given that #63 is the final part of a long sequence beginning in #57, I'm really glad they made that extra effort. --

Another great thing about this Essential volume is that we're finally getting into stories that have been rarely reprinted. To my knowledge and with a few exceptions, #61-83 have only been reprinted in _Marvel's Greatest Comics_.
