He'll probably post under other names.

I disagree. You are not factoring in whether or not the Bat-keys are in the
ignition, and so the power it has would have to be on a sliding scale dependant
on the gear it is in, and whether Batman was using high octane gasoline.
And is Alfred using a broom or an electric vacuum cleaner?
LOL
Which means what to me???
Oyvind
No I mean. What does all this bullshit mean to me, a comic book fan?
If you can answer that satisfactory I´ll shut up :-)

Then prepare to talk yourself hoarse.
BTW, don't feed the troll.
You were wrong.
Please...please...stop...
Thank you.

Well it would mean that Hulk could beat up Thor, if they were the ones being
discussed.
The writers don't mean for their work to be read in this way. A lot of
them are here -- you can ask them.
The publishers don't mean for their publications to be read in this way.
Again, ask them.
The gaming industry has no authorship stake in the comics. What they do
with the comics after they're published is utterly irrelevant.
As for Stan Lee... I think the idea of people reading about his characters
and breaking out their logarithm tables would make him cry.

This whole section has no relevance to anything that comes before or after
it. Or if it does, you haven't made the connection clear. Do you not see
that?

If you genuinely think that this is the "correct," intended way to read a
comic book, you are mentally ill. This is not intended as an insult.
Please seek help. In all seriousness, some anti-psychotic medication
would likely do you a world of good.

You know, this is starting to make a disturbing amount of sense. If he
could just organize it in a way comprehensible to people who weren't
him, it might even be a good system.
*sigh*
As it is, he reminds me of the guy who wrote http://www.Timecube.com/ .
He's speaking a language that, as much as it looks like english, isn't
english [1]

But that´s only relevant in an RPG so what do I care. Couldn´t someone just
report him?

Don't feed the troll. If this is your first experience with him, cut your
losses now and don't look back. He's been ranting like this for years on
various superhero-themed newsgroups.

You know, I'm also vaguely finding something in there... a game system where
there is only one stat, that determines how much you can affect the plot...
But as stated (even ignoring the bizzare logarythms and odd references to
physics), there's no way of making sure that Wolverine, say, doesn't use his
plot affecting abilities in non-Wolverine-y ways. I mean, if he has
PlotChangeStat of 10 (to pick a number out of my ear), he should be only able to
slice things with his claws, heal quickly, and so forth - not teleport or fly,
for instance.

The Emperor's New Clothes, for the information age...

As for being a troll, well trolls like this are better than some regs who get
into fights. This guy I have yet to see make a hostile post.

It's pretty much the idea behind Torg, just taken to an extreme. Or
maybe TWERPS, where the only stat is Strength, if I recall correctly.
So there you have it, rip off Torg and throw it in a malfunctioning
transporter beam with TWERPS, add a lot of extraneous math, and you
have this guy's system.
JSpektr- not to be mean, but this is hardly a new or even original
idea.
He does get angry on occasion when people make serious attacks on his
posts.
But he really is harmless. As far as I can tell, he does periodically
change his screen name, but normally only after an extended absence.
It's relatively simple to kill file him.
I think he's posts are at least marginally on topic. I could never
bring myself to report him to his ISP.

Yeah, and now he's emailing me crud as well.
Good thing I'm changing ISPs in about two days.
No, he's just laying out our defense of his ... ;)
