Although I was not old enough at the time to be there, I recall a lot
of the other early comic conventions here in California and they were
a strange and wonderful thing. I especially recall the Anaheim
Conventions which I believe were at the Hilton.

Plus, Shel donated all of his collection to the Ohio University that
maintains what must be the largest public comic related collection.
