===============

Jeff's contract has been extended for another year. In related
news, Jeff reported that he was not quite burnt out on drawing
tongues yet.

Mark Waid and the Toms all chatted amongst themselves about the
LSH/IMPULSE crossovers while the stories were being written.

McCraw thought that Chris Claremont had a good handle on Saturn
Girl's character in the upcoming SOVEREIGN SEVEN PLUS story.

Jeff's brother, Phil Moy, worked on some of the backgrounds in L*
#44.

Jeff is doing some pencil work for the X-Men Yearbook.

Jeff designed the costumes for the three new Legionnaires.

There are no plans for Dawnstar, Timber Wolf, or the League of
Assassins right now.

Jeff likes Magno, and claimed that he was fun. However, he
stated that Cosmic Boy would have to kick his butt when he
returned to the 30th century.

There are no plans to give Magno a big gun. McCraw joked that
the plans might change if Magno could learn how to use it.

Jeff opined that Sensor has a great personality. McCraw is
hoping that after L* #44, more fans will warm to Sensor.

Sensor uses her backpack to carry things. McCraw indicated that
she might keep a live snack or two.

Jeff indicated that Sensor's lack of lips and eyelids made her a
challenge to draw.

Jeff liked the original costumes for Polar Boy and Night Girl, so
he wanted to introduce them in the same costumes.

McCraw observed that Marla Latham is the Legion's advisor.

Peyer stated that we would never see the 20th century team doing
the Macarena. McCraw observed that they were still learning the
steps to the shrug. Peyer thought they were more of a slow jam
group. He noted that they're too young to get into jazz clubs.

Peyer stated that Mortal Kombat is the 20th century team's lives.

Peyer indicated that, in the 20th century, Cosmic Boy and Saturn
Girl tend to eat healthy foods while Spark and Inferno tend to
eat tasty foods.

McCraw stated that while Live Wire may go nuts and fry Cosmic Boy
over Saturn Girl when Cos returns from the 20th century, Live
Wire would be a bigger man to accept it.

Peyer indicated that if Brainiac 5 took any technological
components from Colu after the Showcase '96 story, we would see
them in the regular book.

Vril Dox, Jr., brought the tree L.E.G.I.O.N.naire along in the
Showcase stories to serve as an innocuous-looking weapon.

Peyer stated that the conversation between the Doxes at the end
of SHOWCASE '96 #12 means that Brainy will have a huge job for
himself in the future.

Peyer indicated that, for him, the point of Brainiac 5 at this
young stage is that brains are not enough. He doesn't want fans
to view Brainy as a screw-up, just immature. Peyer promised that
we'll see Brainy doing things right as he matures. He further
noted that Inferno would be making fun of Brainy.

Jeff was concerned that a "Guys Night Out" story would involve
them scratching and watching Magnoball while drinking Silverale.

After a fan asked if Live Wire's image was an art patch, Jeff
indicated that Live Wire on page 8, panel 3 of L* #44 was a
silhouette.

Ze Tongue was inspired by the work of Jeff Moy.

McCraw indicated that more appearances of Ze Tongue were needed.
Jeff stated that seeing the tongue after it was colored pink was
"kinda gross."

Jeff confessed that he gave a lot of loving attention to drawing
Umbra in L* #44, and indicated that he does that with all of the
characters for whom he designs a new look.

Jeff indicated that it shouldn't be a surprise that Umbra was
able to take out the four rejects by herself. McCraw noted that
Umbra wasn't that violent when defeating them, and that she liked
to get the task done as soon as possible.

McCraw pointed out that Umbra was almost planetary champion of
her home planet. He declined to reveal the identity of the
planetary champion.

The reference to "Talok IV" in L* #44 was an error, and it should
have read "Talok VIII." McCraw speculated that it was either a
letterer's error or something that KC Carlson missed.

Stuart Immonen has designed a new costume for Inferno to replace
the current costume that Jeff designed for her. Jeff has not
seen the design yet.

Jeff promised that Andromeda would show up soon.

Jeff stated that Radion may show up as a member of Work Force.
McCraw hinted that we might see more of Work Force soon, along
with another 30th century team. He wouldn't tell who the other
30th century team would be.

Jeff indicated that there is no end planned for the Emerald
Violet situation right now, but that doesn't preclude her getting
better in the future.

McCraw stated that we will see what Sensor eats in L* #46, which
he described as a "night out" story.

McCraw indicated that we would know who's leading either the 20th
century team or the 30th century team after L* #45.

With a smile, McCraw hinted that Lori Morning will be getting
even with Rond Vidar soon. He promised that after it happens,
every man will be giving Rond sympathy. He also thought that
maybe she should get even with the Athramites, too.

Tom hinted that XS may be warming up to M'Onel.

Proty's story deepens in L* #45.

The idea for the cover of L* #46 came from the cover editors.
Jeff didn't know whether it was supposed to be an homage to
ADVENTURE #369 because he's never seen the ADVENTURE cover. (ED
- The cover to L* #46 shows arms coming out of a wall to grab
Kinetix.)

McCraw indicated that the upcoming Mordru story should be great.
Jeff stated that Mordru would not be wearing a hat.

LSH and L* cross over in L* #47 and LSH #91. McCraw indicated
that fans should wait and see what happens after the meeting.
