Umm, why didn't he ever win? Even when I was 8 reading a reprint in
an annual, he seemed far stupider than someone with Brainiac 5's
intelligence. When fighting Superman and Batman (BATMAN?), he
said something like, "I could use my Element Lad powers to turn
the ground into Green Kryptonite, but that wouldn't be very
sporting...".

Could 100 Daxamites on Venom [tm] beat Composite Superman?
Oh, I forgot, turn the air into lead vapor. How about Validus
under control of Brainiac? He'd be a much more entertaining
subject for DC Annuals than Eclipso or Waverider. Most issues
would be pretty short (i.e. maybe even less than $1.00), if
he would just use that computer mind.
