So I looked, and behold, a pale horse.
And the name of him who sat on it was Death.
And the name of the horse was Binky.

I think Jinx was.

Currently I'm not able to get to the page to see, so I'm going to have to
wait and see... at least until I get home. 8)

Yes, thus the *I*. :-)
Lopresti's females all look kind of generic to me. His Carol Danvers
had the same face as Diana but with different colored hair. I like
his design work from the previews but theres an epic/super/wonderous
quality that is missing from his figures that I think Diana demands.

I was kinda thinking the cold weather gear having metallic shorts
might not be a good thing either.

Is there some reason that--for titles starring female characters--we
are down to a single way to draw beautiful women, one that seems to
emulate Adam Hughes' and/or Frank Cho's line? I can remember when we
could enjoy the lovely women drawn by Nick Cardy, Gil Kane, Bob
Oksner, Werner Roth, Kurt Schaffenberger and more--all equally sexy
but all different as well.

or, as long as we're talking WW, Trina Robbins' interpretation.

But the best women in comics were drawn by Alex toth - no contest !

You've obviously never gone drinking in Newcastle on a Friday night in
winter ........

Well, to be honest, yeah, I can contain my excitement too - but I'm still
looking forward to getting this. Gail's run has been the best
interpretation of old Eagle-tits I've seen in 40 years.

I don't think we are. Thats just an easy conclusion to a complicated
situation.
Adam Hughes, Frank Cho, Amanda Conner, Terry Moore, Drew Johnson,Joe
Bennett, Cliff Chiang, Nicola Scott, Phil Jimenez, Alex Maleev, Luna
Bros, Alan Davis etc etc. All different. All great.

Who is saying we can't do that now? The original poster was only
talking about a specific artist whose interpretation he didn't like.

Or even central London when all the Northern gals (and a few from
Essex) are out on the lash...

Wait, are we comparing WW to a Northern lass?

Heh.
