Best. Opening. Ever.

For FAMILY GUY.

Superman
Batman and Robin (the Boy Wonder)
Wonder Woman
Aquaman
and
Meg

-- Ken from Chicago

P.S. Bonus: The opening had jack squat to do with the episode.

They blew it in that they failed to show Meg as a member of the Legion
of Doom. Heck, they should have shown her as all the members. (Meg
Luthor, Gorilla Meg, etc.)

I assumed she'd be the dragon(?) that Wonder Woman lassoed when it started.

To be fair, neither did SUPERFRIENDS.

Heh. You know, that baseless attack of FG by South Park really bugged
me (esp when the SP guys bragged that other animators, like those
doing King of the Hill, praised them for it). What I got from it was,
essentially, that they were mad at them because FG *doesn't share the
same sense of humor as SP.* Since when is that a crime?? I'm GLAD that
there is no monolithic sense of humor that everyone must stick to! How
boring would that get?

And if their complaint was also that FG's humor is largely "non
sequitur", then I guess SP must *really* hate Monty Python's Flying
Circus, huh?

Personally, Seth MacFarlane came across as a far classier guy by
refusing to wallow in the muck with those guys, and simply said that
they made the show that way, Because it's Funny. And, it is.

Actually Seth said he can't respond in a timely fashion because the
show can't be done at the drop of a hat. And that he didn't take it
personally.

From what little I've seen of Matt and Trey, they're assholes.
Funny assholes, but assholes nonetheless. *

Sketch comedy is a different thing.

During the first season the non sequitur stuff bugged me... it just
didn't work for me. It does now, but I can certainly see why people
who craft stories for their cartoon get annoyed by people who don't.

Especially when those stories suck eggs.

Aw, what's wrong? Can't stand that Family Guy was so effectively
excoriated? Continue crying and sobbing, dipshit.
