Writer/artist salaries

How much does the average writer/artist make if published by say Marvel
or DC? I know that these things must vary according to popularity,
experience, etc. I am just very curious.

This is the sort of thing which, while it may be vaguely on-charter,
is pretty pointless to ask here. Why? Because the Marvel/DC pros don't
generally hang out on this newsgroup, they hit Misc, DC.* and Marvel.*
instead. Nobody here but us amateurs and some small press guys, really.
Oh, and as a side note, there's a lot more agitation to moderate
RACC in light of the Niggers crosspost, and this would almost definitely
include rewriting the charter to include just stories. This is more
incentive to try to get RAC.Industry passed on the next CFV this fall, and
to start carving out a niche on RAC.Misc in the mean time.
