Seeing how much they can go for, I wish I kept my many old issues of
RAW! I remember one artist/illustrator who did a fairly famous image
of a street-cleaner(?) looking up admiringly at a sign-painter who
was, in turn, looking admiringly into a window at a "fine artist"
painting a model. I belive it was also used as an ad for an art school
(RISD? ASL?). This same artist also published this little zine of
pulp-like paintings with accompaning stories that I once had.
What was his name? Are there pictures and references on the web?
Thanks!
