> Did Bill Ayers Write Obama's "Dreams"?
>
> http://www.cashill.com/natl_general/did_bill_ayers_write_2.htm
This confuses two topics:
1. Identifying (unacknowledged) ghost writers by textual analysis,
using new as well as old methods. Columnist Jack Cashill says
he is himself an experienced ghost writer.
2. Whether people's political ideas change, specifically whether
Bill Ayers's ideas changed between 1970 when he was a member
of the "Weather Underground" and today when he teaches at the
Univ. of Illinois teachers' college.
The two unite in the hint that, if Ayers ghost-wrote Obama's book,
he smuggled into it loony or covertly anti-American ideas Obama
might repudiate. --But this is a non-question. Whoever wrote the
book, the Senator put his name to it.

I really don't believe that Ayers has changed his mind much. He is on
record as saying that he doesn't believe he did enough during his time
as a terrorist. Actually, he is much more to be feared as a college
instructor than as a former Weatherman.
Obama might very well have needed a weatherman to tell which way the
wind blows. And probably still does.
