Subject: December book signings at Barnes and Noble (Boulder store)
Here are the upcoming book signings coming to the Boulder Barnes
and Noble Bookstore (1741 28th Street) during the month of
December.

I am not affiliated with the bookstore, but am posting this as a
service to readers who may want to increase the value of their
books or meet the author.  As the New Yorker magazine says,
writers, artists, and musicians lead complex lives.  Please call
ahead (444-2501) to confirm an appearance:

Saturday, December 3 - John Douillard ("Body, Mind, and Sport: The
Mind-Body Guide to Lifelong Fitness and Your Personal Best"),
     4:00 p.m.

Sunday, December 4 - Lynn Yarberry and Cathy Walton ("Real People
Cookin' with Low Fat"), 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.  Samples will be
     given.

Thursday, December 8 - Cheryl Thomson Beckett ("Growing Up Inside
Out"), 1:00 and 7:00 p.m.  Dr. Beckett will give a talk on
     Attention Deficit Disorder.

Saturday, December 10 - Anna Aughenbaugh ("Easy Recipes for 1, 2,
or a Few," "More Than Soup-Bean Cookbook"), 1:00 p.m.  Samples
     will be given.

Saturday, December 10 - Celeste Lasky ("The Resurrection of a
     Woman"), 1:00 p.m.

Sunday, December 11 - Cristina Fredrickson will recommend her
favorite holiday books for children, 1:00 p.m.

Tuesday, December 13 - Carole A. McElvey ("Adoption Crisis: The
Truth Behind Adoption and Foster Care"), 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
She will give a talk about "special-needs" children, labeled
     "America's Youngest Homeless."

Saturday, December 17 - John Fielder (Colorado books and
     calendars), 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

Saturday, December 17 - Cyndi Duncan and George Patrick ("Cookie
Exchange"), Josie and Jerry Minerich ("Mystic Mountain
Memories"), and Tony Patrick ("101 Ways to Make Ramen
Noodles"), 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.  Samples will be given.

Sunday, December 18 - Bob Castellino ("Colorado Changing Seasons
     1995," "Boulder: Living A Dream" calendars), 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

                      Children's Story Time
                 Saturday afternoons - 1:00 p.m.

December 3 - B & N staff will read their favorite children's books

December 10 - Children's author Peggy Warren will present her
books, and Carol Ziegler will put their words to music.

December 17 - Appearance by Santa.
