This time I'll skip the "find the passage" thing I introduced earlier,
and try for a traditional item to be guessed. Now just to think of
something ---

Ah yes. The thing I have chosen may or may not belong to all three
categories: animal, plant and mineral. It is not described in sufficient
detail, but is probably not wholly mineral.

Only vaguely, and only by chance. I can think of one family of life
forms which vaguely resemble my object visually, and another which does so
even more vaguely.

My mind is crooked - unless it be a very straight one in a crooked
universe. Happily for you it is not wicked. And once you do have the

I should say two purposes: one primary, one secondary. Though when it
appears in the story it serves yet a third purpose.
