(this is apparently the true first edition of the book). Hardcover,
in brown cloth, half-covered with marbled paper, gilt spine titles;
6x9", pp. 308-576. Despite the page-numbering, the preface,
introduction and contents page indicate that this is the complete
work. Layout is several photos on the recto, showing overview,
trunks and closeups, with full description of each tree on the left
facing. Good: ex-library, numbers on spine, lib. plate inside cover,
stamped withdrawn; else solid and straight. $20
