with 1/2 page of doggy illustrations. The style is intense, modernist
and expressionist, influenced by folk art, as in the russian
lubok[broadside]. the illustrator signs his initials Yod Dalath [I.
D.]. The best soviet, yiddish dog book, and a fine modernist charmer.
