I have at auction on eBay :

Tomb of the Twelfth Imam, by Richard Bulliet
1979, Harper & Row, New York
HB, Dust Jacket, 230 pages, Including Afterword, First Printing

From the jacket flap:
...Richard Bulliet is a professor of history at Columbia University and has
spent twenty years studying and teaching about the Islamic Middle East.

In 1966, while he ws in Iran, he found a tombstone. Was it a remarkable
discovery with religious and historic overtones?

He thought about his discovery a lot. And in 1978, before Iran burst into
the headlines, he began to write this amazingly timely and exciting novel.
It fills in behind the constant headlines-- but even if the reader had never
thought about Iran, it would be compelling reading.

This book is a former library book, and so there won't be doubt about its
condition, I have scanned the major parts affected by its duty as a library
book. The tape residue from where a former owner removed the dust jacket
cover is clearly visible. I have read that it might be possible to remove
this, but I have not tried.
There is a 1/2 inch closed tear at the bottom of the front jacket flap.
Although the card pocket has been removed, there are two small specks
remaining of the paste that held it on the free front endpaper. Ther is an
inventory number stamped at the top of the dedication page.

The binding is tight and square and the pages are bright and unmarked
(except as previously mentioned).
