From the DJ flap: "First dog Millie Bush's memoir is a heart-warming
look at one dog's life as Presidential best friend. Told with the
characteristic modesty associated with Ms. Billie Bush, Millie's Book
chronicles a very popular administration from the dog days of the
August 1988 Presidential campaign to the dog's heaven of a Camp David
hiatus".

This book is signed:

"Barbara Bush
and
(Millie's pawprint)"

on a "Millie's Book" signature card or bookplate, affixed to the FFEP.

Laid in is a postcard from St. Martin's Episcopal Church, Houston, TX.
On the card is a poem is an invitation to a Barbara Bush Coffee which
reads:

"My book is finished, and hot of the press
After all of this work, I'm taking a rest
So I'm sending The First Lady, my friend, my mentor
To St. Martin's Church, the 27th of September [1990]"

Condition:

The book is VG+, square and tight, gently read.

The DJ is VG, price intact, some minor crinkling at the edges, some
slight scuffing and shelf-wear, and a small crease on the front DJ
flap.

There is no writing, inscriptions, previous owner's name, or other
bookplates. The book is not ex-library and is not remainder marked.

All books are securely padded and boxed to protect your purchases,
though often recycled materials will be used. If you prefer, I will be
happy to drop ship your purchase directly to your customer, per your
instructions.
