Enchanting childrens book titled..... A Treasury of Nursery Rhymes With
Classic
Illustrations, edited by Michael Foss. Contains a wide variety of
rhymes and verses from all parts of the English
speaking world; rhymes that pre-date the printing press and
nostalgic verses
from our own childhood! Fine artists have always been inspired by
the
innocence and magic of nursery rhymes and this volume contains the
very best
of childrens book illustration, including examples by Arthur
Rackham, Kate
Greenaway and other well known artists...also includes many
wonderful
illustrations by artists whose work has somehow faded from the public
eye such
as Millicent Sowerby, Anne Anderson and Florence Harrison.
Using high quality art-paper and the miracle of modern print technoogy
these
gorgeous illustrations in all their original glory are shown...even
those that have
not been reproduced for more than fifty years. The illustrations
are truly
exceptional! Closing tonite, offered without a reserve, current
bid is $20.50. Thanks for looking!

Yep, they ARE the most beautiful in the world. It's true. Yep. Sort of
the
Martha Stewart of the art world. It is worth it just to show people what
the swells like. I even kept one for myself...No.77 its got Vermeers. All
are
in fine shape. Doesn't look like they have been looked at. $55 plus
