Walt Disney Company:

1. "Donald Duck & His Friends" 1939 published by D. C. Heath & Co. Colour
pics on every 2nd page (average) with appearances by many of the
Disney characters colour is great. Cover is damaged and worn.
Spine is also damaged title has faded but is still present. The
book is well bound so even though the covers are loose the book is
intact. Inside front piece has been cut out, corners originally
rounded and in great shape. There are 9 stories covering 102 pages.
Almost every page shows wear & tear where the pages were turned
(near the spine). The following pages have a piece of the page
missing;

some pages have many pics. Binding & condition are great. Covers &
corners show less than normal wear (sharp). Both covers and the 1st

3. "MM Adventures" 1933 published by The Musson Book Company, Ltd. Toronto
(Disney's Can. Publisher at the time - book is copyrighten). Book
is in good condition with wear on the outer part of the binding
(book is still very well bound - nothing is loose), small tear in
front cover & title page (middle of the book about 1/2", crease in
both covers, MM has been traced over & traced on inside front cover
(in reverse) with ears coloured black, size is 6 1/4" x 8 1/2".
60 1-page cartoons in B&W 1 to 6 panels in length. 1 page has a
maze puzzel (with some pencil work), forerunner of the Gaint Comics.
This is a rare book with a format that has "comic book" written
all over it. 100.00

4. "Mickey's Hawaiian Holiday" (Pluto's 1st appearance ???) circa 1934-37
published in Great Britain by Dean & Son, Ltd. London. Hardcover
with colour title front & back showing Mickey, Donald & Goofy.
Very good condition, normal wear on exterior, interior excellent,
all corners very sharp, pics on every page (76 pages) either in B&W
or tones of red, size 7 1/2" x 10". Binding excellent, a previous
owner signed her name (nicely) on second page. Book made with
permission of Disney as stated. Cover is bound to the book, no
dust jacket (if there was 1) 140.00

5. "Walt Disney's Don Mickey" 1937 published by W.M. Collins Sons & Co. Ltd
(London & Glasgow) copyright Disney. Hardcover with colour & title
front & back showing Mickey mounted on "Rosy" the horse. Dust jacket
exact copy of hardcover and shows wear with 6 tiny tears (no missing
pieces). This book is in excellent condition with mostly B&W pics
and some with tones of red on almost every page. Many pages contain
a huge cartoon panel with a story line. There are 76 pages for this
story based on the adventures of Don Quixote, 180.00

6. "Walt Disney Presents Pluto's Play-Time" circa 1940's published by
Juvenile Productions Ltd. (London) copyright Disney. Hardcover with
colour & title on front panel only, dust jacket is an exact dup. with
6 tears. Book contains 1 glossy colour panel, 9 stories, a movie
wheel, 2 poems, Ads and 5 comic type stories, 1 page 5 panels,
2 pages with 4 panels on each page, 2 pages with 5 panels on each
page, 2 pages with 7 panels on each page and 4 pages with 6 panels
on each page for a total of 96 pages. Size 73/4" x 10 1/4" 200.00

7. "Mickey Never Fails" written by Robin Palmer illustrated by The Walt

The book contains 8 chapters covering 102 pages with an average
of 1 colour picture every second page. The book is in mint condition

The above 4 books are in better shape than the smaller ones with tight bindings
and no marks on any pages.

then the price will increase accordingly. These books are 54 to 68 years
old, were handled by many children and are still readable, ready for more
kiddie abuse. The price is firm because the books have and will continue to
have value.


T.E. Lawrence:

1. "Revolt In The Desert" by T. E. Lawrence published by George H. Doran
Company, N.Y. in 1927 1st Doran edition, approx. size 6.5" x 9.25"
Particulars: No dust jacket, spine firm, all 4 corners show slight wear,
the frontispiece is marked with a small sticker (with the number 63 on it),
a signature (not T.E.L.), a bald mark (.5" x .75") made by removing a
sticker and ereaser marks (old price). The title page has a signature (very
small) and the next page that was blank has the inscription "Merry Christmas
Father 1989 with love David" in the upper middle. There is a small tear in
the page stating publisher etc. The rest of the book is in very good
condition. There is an introduction, the publisher's note, a foreward by T.
E. L., 16 illustrations, a map (Red Sea area) and an index. 25.00

2. "Revolt In The Desert" by T. E. Lawrence published by Garden City
Publishing Company, Inc. Garden City in 1927 as part of "The Star
Series" 1st edition, approx. size 5.5" x 8.25"
Particulars: No dust jacket, spine very firm, all 4 corners show very
slight wear and there is an indentation in the lower front, the frontispiece
is marked with the printed name P. MOULDS. The title page has the same.
The rest of the book is in very good condition. This edition is exactly the
same as the above edition except all the llustrations but 1 (portrait of
Lawrence) were left out. So there is an introduction, the publisher's note,
a foreward by T. E. L., a map (Red Sea area) and an index. The page and
chapter count matches theedition described above. 20.00

Publishing Company in 1924, 1st edition, with original photos (15)
