Tattoos and competitive bodybuilding

the muscle magazines and met a number of bodybuilders who visited the
Lancaster area. One of those bodybuilders was Ron Teufel, Teenage Mr.
America, Mr. USA titleholder, and frequent runner-up in the AAU Mr.
America contest (1976-1980).
I met him at the Mr. Lancaster County contest where he was guest
posing. In fact - nerdy cool for a teenaged bodybuilding geek - I drew
a picture of him which he autographed and then gave him copies of the
illustration which he then autographed and sold the /Xerox prints/
(not quite a giclée) for a dollar.
Sad thing about those days was that a scrawny, short, old man named
Oscar State ruled the roost and told IFBB bodybuilders that they'd be
docked points for any tattoos. Teufel apparently took that warning to
heart and (what looked like) burned his cool tattoo (of a skull with a
knife) off of his shoulder leaving a scar that was much more
noticeable than the tattoo artwork that previously resided there.

Note the tattoo and the fact that it's a flipped negative (TEUF on his
knuckles is in reverse).
Happily, today's bodybuilding scene is much more bodyart-friendly as
evidenced by the following pic of Brenda Smith:

one pro football game. What else?
I was in Indianapolis for a year, but, sadly, Iarrived just after the
one year's 500 and left just before the next year's race. Still, I'm
not a big race fan and doubt I would've been able to afford tickets to
that event.
Several Arnold Schwarzenegger Classics. Each one was a blast and truly
what I'd define as an event. Had my pic taken with Lenda Murray and a
number of other pro bodybuilders.
School plays count, of course. I've even been known to help with set
design. Paper and glue, baby! Art teacher trivia: Target in Carlisle
has kids scissors available for 49 cents a pair!

That's inaccurate. Your modus operandi, apparently.
a) You write /their/ faces. Two men and one woman, right? I see two
smiling men and one woman with a blank - okay, you call it creeped-out
- expression on her face.
b) It was *one* snapshot. And at the moment I took the shot, I didn't
realize who the woman was.
c) If she truly was creeped-out then she must not have thought it that
important and she must not have mentioned it to her friends as no one
ever approached me to ask me to delete the image. Again, no one, to
this point, has asked me to delete the image.

My apartment's not all that much better, but I call it home. And the
Healthy Choice Country Breaded Chicken does have some corn in there -
mixed with peas and carrots. Mmmm.

release forms, I have asked politely to take photos at the few events
I've attended. You have a petition I should maybe see or something?

event last year was all but cancelled because you said you were coming.
And I'll give you (and david) some privvy information: Over a few
beers at
a bar in brooklyn a few months before he died, Keith told me this about

Then, when I asked him subsequently about curt, he said:
"He's still a dumbass poseur. Just a complete waste of time. And

There it is, curt. I'm not sure why you enjoy hanging around people

Do you know who organized that event? I mean, I do. And although he's
never sent me a Christmas card, we have attended a few gatherings
simultaneously. He's posed for pictures and is good friends with an
organizer of the one other IAM event I've attended. THAT IAMer is on
my speed dial/in my cell. And, yeah, although we haven't been in
contact as much as we had been in the past, we did speak recently and
it seemed relaxed and friendly.
All that aside, I'm one man. Nothing, I imagine, would be cancelled
solely because I said I was coming. Be realistic, please. RABcon ring

Oh, trot this pony out again. This bit I do remember, but what impact
does it have? Nothing. Keith was not my friend. He offered numerous
slams about me, posted what he thought were humorous
pic/caption/comments about me, and went around and around playing RAB
ping pong (kinda but not quite) like we are currently doing.
What I offered by sharing the IM was an indication that Keith was not
one-dimensional.

It's still in my one IAM gallery, but that's available only to members
of IAM, iirc. Anyway, I'll delete that as well, but only if you request
that action be taken.
