I met him at the Mr. Lancaster County contest where he was guest
posing. In fact - nerdy cool for a teenaged bodybuilding geek - I drew
a picture of him which he autographed and then gave him copies of the
illustration which he then autographed and sold the /Xerox prints/
(not quite a giclée) for a dollar.
Sad thing about those days was that a scrawny, short, old man named
Oscar State ruled the roost and told IFBB bodybuilders that they'd be
docked points for any tattoos. Teufel apparently took that warning to
heart and (what looked like) burned his cool tattoo (of a skull with a
knife) off of his shoulder leaving a scar that was much more
noticeable than the tattoo artwork that previously resided there.
http://www.musclememory.com/cgi-bin/showpic?recent/TeufelRon_2.jpg
Note the tattoo and the fact that it's a flipped negative (TEUF on his
knuckles is in reverse).
Happily, today's bodybuilding scene is much more bodyart-friendly as
evidenced by the following pic of Brenda Smith:

Hmmm...maybe you do like girls. That would explain why you follow them
around endlessly at events and take snapshots of creeped-out
expressions
on their faces, and then post them publically after being repeatedly
told not
to.
-----yttrx
Define them. Friends of yours?
>around endlessly
Define endlessly. Infinity rules, eh?
>at events
Define events. I've attended one RABcon and a few IAM events. At least
one pro football game. What else?
I was in Indianapolis for a year, but, sadly, Iarrived just after the
one year's 500 and left just before the next year's race. Still, I'm
not a big race fan and doubt I would've been able to afford tickets to
that event.
Several Arnold Schwarzenegger Classics. Each one was a blast and truly
what I'd define as an event. Had my pic taken with Lenda Murray and a
number of other pro bodybuilders.
School plays count, of course. I've even been known to help with set
design. Paper and glue, baby! Art teacher trivia: Target in Carlisle
has kids scissors available for 49 cents a pair!
>and take snapshots of creeped-out expressions on their faces,
heh
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v108/curt_james/RAB/ispplus.jpg
That's inaccurate. Your modus operandi, apparently.
a) You write /their/ faces. Two men and one woman, right? I see two
smiling men and one woman with a blank - okay, you call it creeped-out
- expression on her face.
b) It was *one* snapshot. And at the moment I took the shot, I didn't
realize who the woman was.
c) If she truly was creeped-out then she must not have thought it that
important and she must not have mentioned it to her friends as no one
ever approached me to ask me to delete the image. Again, no one, to
this point, has asked me to delete the image.
>and then post them publically after being repeatedly
>told not to.
And, iirc, no one ever told me not to post them publically. Not even
once.

Curt
http://curtjames.com/
Now then. If I were snitty, I would heartily consider locking you in a
court battle so long, so ugly, and so costly, that you'd have to
recover from it in a refridgerator box under a bridge, heating up cans
of stolen creamed corn over a crack lighter.
But that's just me. I guess I'm kinda direct, and not the sort of
fellow that one should really, really piss off.

I'm actually referring to a large number of "snapshots" of quite a few

Uh huh. Actually if I talked about it with her directly I don't
remember. I
talked with YOU about it directly though, and so did she, right here on
RAB.
And again, I'm referring to a large number of pictures of a large
number of
people.
You creep pretty much everyone out, curt. And no one wants you at any
of
their events, that's a fact.
-----yttrx
Refrigerator, if I'm not mistaken. Is that what you wanted? Will you
sue me now or later?
>box under a bridge, heating up cans of stolen creamed corn

My apartment's not all that much better, but I call it home. And the
Healthy Choice Country Breaded Chicken does have some corn in there -
mixed with peas and carrots. Mmmm.
>But that's just me. I guess I'm kinda direct, and not the sort of
>fellow that one should really, really piss off.
And yet you return to speaking to me. You enjoying yourself. Will you
offer another "Begone!" or some such now? Your majesty, away with
them. They will leave now for they dost offend thee.
Something like that?
>I'm actually referring to a large number of "snapshots" of quite a few

Will this be a class action suit then?

Yet you continue to do the vague thing. While I've never had model
release forms, I have asked politely to take photos at the few events
I've attended. You have a petition I should maybe see or something?
SNITTY, YOU OUT THERE? YOU WANT I SHOULD DELETE THE PIC FROM MY
PHOTOBUCKET ACCOUNT? DID I FORGET SOMETHING YOU SAID PREVIOUSLY?
>You creep pretty much everyone out, curt.
Pretty much, huh? Some wiggle room there. And where exactly? You
mentioned IAM in a previous post, yes?
Never mind, I'll be on the next shuttle to Mars. That do the trick?
Before I launch, though, here's my IAM link for those who'd like to
test whether I creep pretty much everyone out:
http://iam.bmezine.com/?curt I've been absent recently, but things
seem fine there. I do believe the problem lies in you.
>And no one wants you at any of their events, that's a fact.
Here's a clue: It's not a fact simply because you say it's a fact,
okay?
Hth, but, yeah, I doubt that it will.

Well, I didn't but, hey, how difficult is it to Google _snitty, curt,
picture_? Not too. To wit:

I started at the beginning of the thread.
Find the part where snitty asks me to delete the photobucket image
and, yeah, I'll delete. Also, if snitty posts to request a delete the
photobucket image then, yeah, I'll delete. Simple, imo.

Curt, there are people in the community that do not want to attend an
event with you in it because they're afraid they'll break their parole.
Do
you understand that? And that's just one facet, my man. That bowling
event last year was all but cancelled because you said you were coming.
And I'll give you (and david) some privvy information: Over a few
beers at
a bar in brooklyn a few months before he died, Keith told me this about
DRLG:
"You know, hes really changed his tune. I'm pretty impressed. You
should
come back to RAB."
Then, when I asked him subsequently about curt, he said:
"He's still a dumbass poseur. Just a complete waste of time. And
oxygen."
There it is, curt. I'm not sure why you enjoy hanging around people
who nearly
exclusively cannot stand you, but it's pretty pathetic and really needs
to stop.

you morph so much it's impossible to keep you in a killfile.

/You/ being Yit, imo.

Fairly often, actually.

Ohhhh, so you're disagreeing with me? How novel.
[...]
>That bowling event last year was all but cancelled

Do you know who organized that event? I mean, I do. And although he's
never sent me a Christmas card, we have attended a few gatherings
simultaneously. He's posed for pictures and is good friends with an
organizer of the one other IAM event I've attended. THAT IAMer is on
my speed dial/in my cell. And, yeah, although we haven't been in
contact as much as we had been in the past, we did speak recently and
it seemed relaxed and friendly.
All that aside, I'm one man. Nothing, I imagine, would be cancelled
solely because I said I was coming. Be realistic, please. RABcon ring
any bells?
>And I'll give you (and david) some privvy information: Over
>a few beers at a bar in brooklyn
Oh, trot this pony out again. This bit I do remember, but what impact
does it have? Nothing. Keith was not my friend. He offered numerous
slams about me, posted what he thought were humorous
pic/caption/comments about me, and went around and around playing RAB
ping pong (kinda but not quite) like we are currently doing.
What I offered by sharing the IM was an indication that Keith was not
one-dimensional.

There what is? An alleged quote.
Not that it's anything out of the ordinary for him to say, of course.
See: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v108/curt_james/RAB/KA2.jpg
I could just as easily post whatever I'd like without means of
verification. Not that I'm disputing you especially, but unlike your
Brooklyn bar conversation with the since deceased, *this*, I suspect,
/could/ be verified as an actual IM originating from Keith's cyber
pen: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v108/curt_james/RAB/KA.jpg
>I'm not sure why you enjoy hanging around people
>who nearly exclusively cannot stand you, but it's
I like listening to your wheels spin currently, but overall you're
meaningless to my participation in this newsgroup. Or did you mean
IAM? Here's some trivia:
My first post to IAM was July 30, 2002.
The IAM counter indicates 34,651 hits and also offers, "you are ranked
number 349 out of about 14,999 iam users."
468 people have signed my petition. That number includes Keith, btw,
with Curt Blood Crunch as his favorite ice cream flavor. See:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v108/curt_james/RAB/KA4.jpg
And I've even included a RAB poll on my IAM page. Current results:
*Have you ever visited rec.arts.bodyart?*
(40 VOTES)
5% - Yes, I love it!
10% - Never heard of it. Not interested in newsgroups. I waste too
much time online already.
15% - I'm a lurker, but would never post.
7% - You are such a dick there, but you're nice here. Why is that?
5% - Yes. I've posted there and "they" chewed me a new asshole.
2% - I post there. I enjoy it. I have YOU banned on my IAM page. Blow
me.
50% - Never heard of it. But I'll have to check it out.
5% - Other. Yeah, pick a forum. There are a few, eh?
>pretty pathetic and really needs to stop.
What? Your fascination with yours truly? Nah. Do go on.

I've deleted the Photobucket image /just because/.
