OT: Sir Curt, where ART thou?

this is common knowledge to everyone else. I am always the last to know.
This may possibly sound bizarre and may even border on neurotic... but I
would appreciate your opinion on something completely unrelated to
bodmod.... that is, if you don't mind. Although, the fate of a great tattoo
artist may ultimately depend on this request. Or not. No pressure, k? : )
Ok. So I'm sure you see lots of kid generated art. And I'm sure they're all
just super special in some way. And you probably get your share of
overbearing parents who think their kids are the next Picasso, or Bouguereau
or such. Well, I'm one of those parents... except, damnit, mine really are
artist!!
My twin 8 yr olds have some incredible artistic talent. Intially I thought
my opinion might be one sided but many people have commented on their stuff.
I want to really nurture this talent the best way possible.... but without
pressuring or burning them out.
I would really like your professional opinion on some of their drawings. I
want your complete, impartial, biased opinion... the good, bad and ugly. I
can take.it. But I think you'll be surprised. Maybe you can suggest what
techniques are realistic and important for their level. I am also concerned
about how to screen potential teachers for private lessons so I can avoid
any influence or impairment to their natural talent.
What do ya think? Hmmm? Am I neurotic?

Personally, I think the post was about as on topic as some I've seen
lately.... but the OT was used in consideration of those who might find a
discussion about art too sensitive. And yet, I knew some would still choose

There are lots of qualified artist reading this... and I can't speak for
those lurking. Far be it for a civil discussion about art to erupt here. And
forbid anyone share a comment or experience about artistic training, or how
it reflects in their tattooing skills.
It's not as if the two are so completely unrelated.
