Galaxy Express 999

As I die-hard Matsumoto fan, I'd like to have a subbed copy of
Galaxy Express 999 to complement Arcadia of my Youth (AnimEigo release).
I've seen the dub, called simple Galaxy Express, but giving
Harlock a cowboy accent and calling him Captain Warlock is just too
much. (All the other voices are atrocious as well...) So does anyone out
there have access to a fansub that they'd like to copy for me?

<grin> me neither, I thought the voice sucked too. I watched the French
dub of the Captain Harlock series (as "Albator, Corsair d'Epace") before
I saw Galaxy Epress 999 and I thought the voice used for Albator was
great. I agree with you about the other voices on GE999 -- Emeraldas was
particularly weak.

As far as my original request goes <re: Galaxy Express 999> it
also extends to anyone with Albator on tape. No, I wouldn't need
subtitles in this case. :)
