[RoV] Comments on Rose of Versailles 26-38 <MEGASPOILERS!>

Ok, I've catched up on RoV, except for the last two episodes.
<MAJOR SPOILERS!!>
Some comments:
- "My Andre is in danger!". Great scene, but *what* a way for
Fersen to find out about them! ^O^
- The melodrama is laid on THICK. Marie Antoinette's kid; Alan's
sister; Andre gets one eye cut, goes blind on the other,
then gets shot and killed for no good reason. And now Oscar is
hacking up bits of lung, great... -_-;
- Right after that sequence where Oscar becomes intimate with Andre,
notice that now *Oscar* follows Andre with her horse, and not the
other way around.
- Funny how Andre's line in the ED about not being able to see Oscar
ever again turned out to be a plot spoiler.
- Two scenes that worked very well: Oscar giving her farewell to
Marie Antoinette, and Andre trying to describe Oscar's portrait.
WARNING: Spoil the last 2 episodes from me and I'll send Robespierre's
masked flunkie after you (incompetent as he seems to be recently).

Yet it seems Oscar didn't really realize what that line suppose to mean.
Or did she?

What else do you expect from a "tragic" character? ^_-
It's almost a cliche from the 60's & 70's manga.

Yeah, I noticed that, too. She's following "yamoto nadeshiko" style, isn't
she? ^_^;

Hehe, I knew from the beginning what that line really supposed to mean since I
read the manga before the anime came out. ^_^

Yup, those two scenes are my favorite as well.
I also liked episode 27 and 28 where Andre gets tormented psychologically.
Call me masochistic if you like but only on psychological side. ^_^

St.Just is Crying Freeman in the late 18th century. In fact, Toshio Furukawa
did voice acting for both. ^_^;

Well, when she first said it, that was an instinctive reaction. She
eventually realized that she really cared for him. Maybe she didn't know
that she *loved* him until later? (I really would like to understand
the dialogue for this show... ^_^;)

^_^
A "good" yamato nadeshiko follows her husband 3 steps behind. :-P
