I'm getting ready to move on to the arms and legs, but would like to know
some of your opinions as to when I should go ahead and do my wash.
Should I do the wash before I start assembly? Or should I wash the pieces
as I assemble them?
I despise doing panel lines with pens and markers, and enjoy doing them with
a wash, but I don't want the wash to be lighter on some areas and darker on
others.
Any thoughts would be great!

The last time I washed I did it when I had the legs, arms, and torso done.
Then did those items together.
Usually by time the wash is done I don't have to worry about too much, then
I just dry brush like a nutcase :)
Thanks!

Ultimately, you want to do this procedure on each of your
sub-assemblies.
Painted first :)
Then subassembled, washed, cleaned, dry-brushed, assembled, drybrushed
again.
I'll post shots here in a little bit. Had some fun with it considering that
it was an EZ-8. I got sick of seeing EZs that were too clean, or too battle
damaged. So I went for a downright filthy EZ from the waste down. Only
major problems with the kit was the stupid dry transfer logos. Hands
weren't steady enough for them this morning.
After I got through with the dt decals I chose a few of the wet transfer and
put those on. I didn't think that I should put them all on because you
never see that many logos on a Gundam in the OAVs.
Time to go get the digital. I'll share later, then you guys can tell me how
much it sucks :)

Eh, leave it as is. If anyone asks, it just walked through a swamp, thus the
cleaner upper side. <g>
Come to think of it, try a diorama... with it stepping out of some nice,
properly-slimy water.
*shrug* I like it, but what do I know. :]

Going to clean a bit of the mud off the crotch region though, and lighten up
the mud on the back. After that i've got a bit more detailing and it's off
to another kit.
