Ala Mel Brooks, I rise below trolling. Ignoring me won't stop, and
replying to me won't stop. What people with a ton of numbers in their
names, and Neil Gaimen quotes in their sigs see as trolling, I see as
an obvious but mysteriously unstated fact.

If the truth hurts, is THAT trolling? Should we be apologizing for
being truthful? Should we tell ourselves lies all day?

any show that talks and talks and talks and talks yet has nothing to say.
Sad. Plus, Gundam X is just a huge embaressment for all involved. But the
"main" Gundam universe (The Universal Century shows) seem to be smart enough
to avoid Wing's egotism or X's boring,go-nowhere plots, and are just damned

Taken to excess, of course it's bad; that's what "to excess" means. HTH.

Now, as to whether GW takes itself too seriously... I'll leave that to the
people who could actually bother watching the damnable thing.

Apparently, fighting is bad; so bad that they have to show it from
every possible angle, so we'd be sure to recognise it.

You know, it's funny, I don't remember where you guys where when I
burned AGFF to the ground. Oh yeah, you were running and cowering,
defeated by a logical irony that you could never comprehend, and I had

"It's been over for a year." Jesus, stop making it look like we used to
date. Unless you really were in love with me. Actually, that would explain a
whole lot.

I was just defending Gundam in my own adoreable way, by showing you up in
the funny department. Your responce, the old "fake apathy so no one will
notice you wussing out of making a real reply" trick, which you used all the
time back when it wasen't over, was typical and rather gratifying. Thank you
for providing amusement for me for the three minutes it took to write that.

But don't worry, it really is over. Seriously. You won,and finally got to
indulge your yearning to be a woman and fulfill your pent-up desire for me
along the way. Meanwhile, I lost, and all I got (in the long run, anyway,it's
not like this all happened overnight) was a life and friends outside the
internet, a new girlfriend with big tits and overall, alot more happiness
than I ever had while I was at AGFF. Oh,and a PS2. So yes, it's over.
Congratulations on your achievements. Have a fig newton.

-Wyvern,forgot how much fun this is.

PS-I don't expect you to believe any of the last paragraph. In return,I hope
you don't expect me to care if you believe me or not.

Actually, I remember quite vividly that Cypher once left the group for a
couple of months as a result of me smacking him down. This must've have been
about two years ago,at least. Wow.

It's too bad I missed the genesis of this rivalry between you and
> Wyvern; it might have amused me for a few seconds.

I don't even remember what it was. That's what makes this all really
sad-back in the day, this stupid conflict was really important to us both
even though it was over basically nothing.

Anyway, about a year ago, I was in a vulnerable state emotionally over being
dumped by my GF of two years (while NS himself has still never recovered
from being rejected by a female poster who never liked him in the first
place) and he took advantage of it by pretending to be a girl and getting me
to cyber him. (and I think he enjoyed it a bit too much) I then left the
group and (no offense to people who still post there but it's true) it was
the best thing I've ever done.
I no longer need a Usenet group to prop up my self-esteem, but until Neppy
can say the same I guess he'll be flaming me and trying to convince himself
it still matters to anyone but him.

Now you know. And knowing is half the battle, so get out there and kill some
Afghans.

You missed Cypher from back in the days when he was more concerned
with decapitating Usenet posters than getting high.

I'm talking about a year or two ago, when Cypher would regularly smack
down the usually touchy AGFF regs, including Wyvern.

It wasn't much, he was ran off after a couple very weak defensive

Wait, how does NS calling himself a name make me in love with him? You're

"Welcome to McDonald's. May I take your order?"

Yeah, but I figure, if there's only one male and one female of each species,
we can do the following.

1-Get one spieces and put them both in a secluded area.

2-Set up a video camera

3-Let the reproductive insctinct kick in

4-Repeat

5-Sell footage to Discovery Channel for use in thier various specials (such
as "In Search of Humping Chimps,"Girl Cheeteas Gone Wild," or "Nothing But
Ducks Fucking 2") and get rich.

Heh. Reminds me of a band trip I took last summer, to St. Louis. We
went to Busch Gardens, and while we were there the elephants decided
to get it on. Needless to say, a pair of the other guys in the band
recorded it on video.

No it doesen't. If you want to get techinical, the listener can agree with
parts of a speaker's statement, without agreeing, or implying agreement to,
the rest of the statement. Simple english.

But I guess I owe you a straight answer on the love issue. Actually, I
don't, but here's one anyway:

Hindsight being 20/20 and whatnot, it's pretty clear to me now that in
October of last year I was still in love with Leareth, even though she had
dumped me after two years, and I was kind of looking for the closest person
to project those feelings unto. I had my suspicions about Megan, but I was
willing to let those slide because I wanted someone I could pretend was
Leareth. So I was never in love with "Megan," I was trying to avoid getting
over Leareth. Pretty sad, really. All this crap was subconcious at the time
of course, but it's pretty clear to me now. I have a feeling this paragraph
went over alot of people's heads.

Ironically (John seems to fancy himself Mr. Irony all of a sudden, but I bet
he won't be able to appreciate this) the Megan fiasco made me realize I was
being an idiot, still having feelings over someone who no longer loved me,
and staying in an NG that I no longer even liked. After that I finally
managed to get over Lear. That incedent, and some stuff in the real world
over the past year helped me get my head together and finally outgrow the
practice of letting my life revolve around a newsgroup. And I owe it
partially to John-boy and his fondness for anal sex; were it not for him,
I'd still be as big a loser as he is.

But if you don't assume that you fell in love with John, there's
absolutely nothing else in that statement to agree with. How can he
be calling himself emotionally deficient if he isn't the person you
fell in love with?

Do anime fans ever change their opinion about anything?

I always figured the meaning of life was to learn and grow constantly, never
stopping to agree with yourself or at the very least questioning your own opinions
and judgment to form a better opinion and possibly even become a smart person.
Perhaps an impossible task after watching too much anime.

Anime is the impediment to human evolution.

Easily. The part of the statement I'm agreeing with is John implying that he
is emotionally deficient. In retrospect, you kind of have a point in that I
should have added "And I was never in love with him" at the end just to make
it cut-and-dried, but the fact that I didn't doesen't imply agreement. If I
snip part of your post without responding, does that automatically mean I
agreed with it?

I know he succeeded. I've said that like, nine times already. I'm saying it
again now. I KNOW HE SUCCEEDED AND I DON'T CARE. Now, for the slow kids in
the audience (Josh, I'm looking at you) I shall repeat-I KNOW HE SUCCEEDED
AND I DON'T CARE. John beat me in a pointless argument over nothing in a
dead newsgroup a year ago. And I'm grateful to him for it, because if he
haden't I never would have realized how utterly meaningless the whole
argument was in the first place. Don't you guys get tired of hearing me
repeat this? So once more, the people in the back-I KNOW HE SUCCEEDED AND I
DON'T CARE. It doesen't matter. It never mattered, if you think about it. We
clear now? Probably not.

You know, I'm supposed to be having fun with you guys here, aruging over
nothing for old time's sake and whatnot, but between you agreeing with me
about John beating me, and Nep trying to flame me by agreeing with me about
Gundam Wing, I have to wonder why I should bother. This game is getting
boring. Please try harder.

Well, except for the fact that you

Okay, that's kind of a good effort there (gives Ron a gold star) and as soon
as you reveal to me how you managed to moniter my activities over the past
year,(series of video cameras,I'd wager) not to mention my internal
thoughts, philosphies, values, etc, then I'll believe you know what you're
talking about. Because I know you woulden't just base your judgement of a
person's entire character on a couple of posts he threw at you to amuse
himself. That would just be stupid.

BTW, if you have been monitering my entire life via a series of video
cameras, I want the sex tapes back. I have (ahem) plans for them.

What makes it stupid? The posts you've made here are not really
different from the ones you made in AGFF; therefore you haven't really
changed.

There's way too much dead weight in this post. Snippy time! (note to
crybabies-all of Rob's most recent arguments have been left intact)

.....................we're just going in circles now, aren't we? NS said
"Megan is an emotionally defiecent web girl."
Megan=emtionally defeicent
Megan=John
therefore, John=emotionally defeicent. He must be,he (inadvertantly) said
so himself.

I never said I was in love with anyone, nor did I deny it, (even though I
should have so we could have avoided this pointless Grammer Rodeo we're
having now) so my reply was neutral on the love issue.

It helps to be long-winded when you're talking down to someone. I'm just
trying to explain to you that the Megan-broken-record approach never worked
and you need to try something new before I get bored. But on second thought,
knock yourselves out with the Megan thing. Then I'll know how Superman feels
when the bad guys keep shooting at him.

[snipsnipsnOW! I knew I should have used the saftey scissors. Ew,blood.]

So you're judging a person's character based on NG posts. Wow. You're pretty
far gone, aren't you? If you're going to take Usenet this seriously, there's
probably a few things you should know. Remember when I would write things
like this-

Relm:I'm phooey. Who will sleep with me?

Well, Relm didn't actually come to my house and type that. Relm isn't even
real. See, on usenet, people often act differently than they normally do!
That's why some people tend to actually talk to people in real conversations
before they make huge assumptions about them! Also, when Cypher used to
write those flame posts in which he killed me and various other people, he
didn't really kill us. In fact, I've never actually died! And I didn't just
cut myself while snipping this post, either. What you are looking at is just
a bunch of zeroes and ones, pal. It's not a human being.

Tiny spineless posts in an attempt to cover up that he's given up and/or
can't think of a way to counter the above.

Poor John's got nothing, which makes him harmless to me. (pats NS on the head
like he's a cute helpless 'lil puppy) Just so you know, kids at home, when NS
starts replying in single-sentance posts that he could have whipped out
without even reading the thread, it means you just won. Game over. Thank you
for entertaining me, Johnny-boy. Better luck next time.

Don't worry folks, John will still pretend he hasen't lost.

You know, if you've ever read something called a "book," you'd see
some things called "characters." They are usually people with their
own personality, but these characters are NOT the author, but instead
made up people.

You know, a child knows these things, and understands them. Why don't
you? Maybe you watch too much anime, where the characters don't HAVE
personalities, and are just transparent animated versions of the
writer or creator. Then I guess I could understand.

My recommendation: stop watching that shitty anime, and watch a real
movie or something.

The average comprehension level of all these anime fans has hit an all
time low. This has to be a very sad time for anime fandom, utterly
destroyed by a handful of people with opinions and valid points, and
ACTUAL knowledge of art.

Nope, he said that the person you fell in love with was an emotionally
deficient web.grrl.
