I'm thinking about buying Naruto. RightStuf has a gonga deal at $4.49 per disc, but it's the cut episodes from Toonami. They also have a very good deal on the Uncut versions. What is the difference and is the difference worth the extra money?

thanks,
Robin

Regardless of the title, always go for the uncut version if it is available.
This way you will get the full idea of what the creators were attempting to
convey.

Always go for the uncut.

Also, even at reduced prices, be ready to sell your house. Naruto and
Naruto Shippuden together are longer than Dragonball/DBZ and all add
ons. Unless you count Dragonball Kai, the re-do.

I'll third the recommendation for uncut. I haven't seen the edited version
of Naruto but typically they will edit out any blood and maybe edit out
cigarettes to make it kid friendly (one of the Jonin is a heavy smoker).
That could include violent scenes or strong language deemed inappropriate
for young children, but those scenes could be important to an older viewer.
