Yes, the page has been updated! Almost everyone listed on the two main
pages has a writeup or a picture, and at least half of them have both.

My thanks go out to the contributors who made this job much less
difficult than it could have been: Bill Blackthorn, Gerardo Campos,
A.Griffin, Dave Kelk, D B Malmquist, Chris "Blade" McNeil, David
Oldridge, Michael I. Orikasa, Brian Perler, Robert Sneddon, David
Watson, and 5parrow.

While the first two pages are looking good, there's still that third
page of characters... Who are these people, where can I find images of
most of them, and (most importantly) are they full-time or part-time
meganekko?

Aoki Hisae (Vampire Princess Miyu TV)
Allumage Francine (Gatekeepers)
Asami Miyako (Betterman)
Sophia Forrester (Last Exile)
Hosaka Miyuki (Sentimental Journey)
Inoue Miyako (Digimon)
Izumi Neneko (DearS -- I have an image of Neneko, but
no writeup)
Kamikura Ichiko (Hime-chan no Ribbon)
Kisaragi Mio (Tokimeki Memorial)
Komatsu Chiaki (NieA_7)
Kouno Yui (Aquarian Age)
Kurogane Megumi (Gatekeepers)
Vanessa Laird (Macross) [a.k.a. Vanessa Leeds (Robotech)]
Remmy Levi-Strauss (Geneshaft)
Miyuki Miyazawa (Nuku Nuku TV)
Nakamoto Shizuka (Graduation; Marriage; Sailor Victory)
Nakazato Minatsu (Slow Step)
Otari Masudamasu Yoshiko (Android Announcer Maico 2010 -- I have an
image and a writeup for Masudamasu, but don't
know whether she's "full-time" or "part-time")
Ryuuzaki Youko (Ojousama Sousamou/Debutante Detective Corps)
Sakimori Misao (Gatekeepers)
Takahashi Tomomi (Azuki-chan)
Yomoda Chisa (Serial Experiments Lain)
Yumenokata Mari (Elf Princess Rane)
Yuuki Hitomi (Real Bout High School)
Shoko (Hyperdoll)
the entire female cast (G-on Riders -- I need their names, too!)

One more thing: Stollen Forte (Galaxy Angel) wears a monacle. Is she a
meganekko?

She's worn glasses in every episode so far.

That's good enough for me... (moves Masudamasu to the "full-time" list)

Why doesn't anybody tell me these things? <sigh> Sir Integra made the
list, so... Images and a writeup to the usual address, please.

Having watched Gunparade March this past weekend. I just have to add
this to the full-time meganekko list:

Tanabe Maki - A mechanic for unit 5121, Tanabe Maki is a girl endowed
with more than your usual amount of bad luck. From getting lost on the
way to the unit on her first day to tripping and spilling her food all
over in the cafeteria any time they serve her favorite food - potatos -
she displays her bad luck quite frequently and expectedly. Despite the
seeming unfortunateness of it all, she remains in a good humor and takes
it all in stride. Only her friends and fellow unit-mates consider her
to have bad luck, she instead always finds ways to look at the bright
side of the bad things that happen to her.

I'm having trouble finding images of her, though. :/ If I can manage to
get my DVD ROM working tonite, I'll try to make a screen cap of her. She
does seem to be on the cover of DVD vol 3 (
http://www.rightstuf.com/1-800-338-6827/catalogmgr/CZvKiZCBTbz8oDPeD8/browse/item/62373/4/0/0
) doing her usual klutzy thing (on the far left), but I'm having
trouble finding a large enough scan of it to make it relevant.

(an interesting note, she managed to get an entire episode dedicated to
her [in a 12 ep series] despite her not being the main character. I don't
typically like meganekko, but she was particularly endearing to me for
some reason)

Thanks! Work goes on, of course - I was about to upload an update when
I logged on this afternoon, but then I saw Aya's post in this thread and
three e-mails (from Ronny Cook, Geraldo Campos, and Pearson Mui) in my
inbox... Maybe there'll be an update later tonight.

Just a comment about the entry for Bochard Eirote from your webpage:

"Eirote is the adjutant of Senes, the Scrapped Princess."

seems to imply that Senes is the Scrapped Princess, which she isn't.

(Of course, if she was, I'm going to look very silly.)

Oopsie... This is an editing error, not a writing error. (In other
words, that wording is my fault.)

Before I change it, though, can anyone tell me whether it is correct or

Alright, so DVD drive does seem to be on the fritz. I'm going to try the
one on the computer downstairs that has the over-heaty CPU tonite
instead. It occurs to me that I might actually have a rip of the OP/ED
sequences on my computer already, but I'll have to check. Hopefully
between the downstairs comp, possible OP/ED sequences and cover scans,
I'll be able to produce two decent pics... hopefully...

Alright, I made about 15 screen grabs for you to choose from:
http://frostbrand.org/junk/maki.zip (6.5MB)

I also included a couple of pics of her without her glasses (the only
time she doesn't wear them is when she's performinig on stage), although
she is still a full-time meganekko.

What about her? Specifically: Is she a full-time meganekko or a
part-timer? Where can I find images of her? What's she like? Is that
her full name? Are there any other meganekko in the same anime?

For now, I've added her to the "Other Meganekko" list, with the other

She wears the specs most of the time, only taking them off
occaisionally. Rather large glasses at that. Her poor eyesight seems
to be a major part of her character, at least in the episodes I've
seen. Here's a link to a site with pictures.

http://www.wonderfarm.co.jp/shippo/contents/character/tamami.htm

US release is called "Angel Tales". Kind of ruins the gag since the
Angels are all reincarnated pets.

Oh, dear. I like "light and fluffy" anime, but I don't like having my

(BTW, we're going to have to get together to trade images sometime. I
suspect you might want the larger-sized versions of the images of Aasu

Minor correction for WHR, knock off a year from her age. Ep 1 has them
mention Robin as being 15 and only about 6-7 months took place from start

I'm compiling pictures for you right now (almost all from the BU Capture
Archives, of course), and checking back on your page when you announce
updates to see what you need. I'll E-mail you to let you know where to
get the finished zip file of high-quality JPEGs (which will be around 3M)
when it's ready, and see what to work out to get the ones from you.

Lady Une --
The part-timer from Gundam Wing. Here's a non-glasses pic of her:
http://www.gundamofficial.com/www_ac/gw/characters/charpopups/media/ozthumb2_lg_lady.jpg

It's been years since I watched Gundam Wing, so I don't think I could do
a blurb for her justice. But what I *do* remember thinking about her was
that she was awesome! :D

Cher Degre --
I can probably make some screen caps of Cher Degre, the part-timer from
Wolf's Rain, sometime this weekend (google search produces nothing of
interest).

As far as a blurb for Cher Degre:
Cher is the primary scientist studying Cheza, the flower maiden, at the
beginning of _Wolf's Rain_. Cher is a very independent, determined and
intelligent person, and she is incredibly dedicated to her job. Her job
rules her life, and her marriage ends up falling apart because of it,
although it's obvious Cher still cares for her ex-husband, Hubb.
Throughout the series, Hubb chases Cher to the ends of the earth, just as
Cher chases Cheza, caring more about the flower maiden then her own life.

Usada Hikaru blurb --
Usada is the self-declared rival of Dejiko throughout all incarnations
of the show _Digi Charat_. She considers herself an elegant star and
despises it when Dejiko calls her "Usada", demanding that she be
referred to as "Rabi ~en~ Rose" instead. Minagawa Takurou developed a
crush her after meeting her in her teacher persona, with her glasses on.

(non-glasses images -- I prefer 2nd image best, personally, but it is
manga-style...)

Tadami --
One of the full-time meganekko from the show Himiko-den. If she's who I
think she is (pink-haired glasses girl with braids, kindof an
intellectual bimbo)... I can probably make a couple of screen caps of
her this weekend as well.

Kawaii!!!

The second image is good, but it's difficult to get *just* Rabi en Rose
if I was to use it...

And on this note, I'm turning my attention to other projects for a few
days. (I need to put something new in the Primer this month, for
instance.) I'll come back to the Gallery sometime next week.

Then maybe, they should've renamed it "Angel Tails." ^_^

Laters. =)

Hawkmon's partner. Cute if a bit young. Full time Meganekko. I've

Not much screen time. Always has glasses on. Youngest Bridge Bunny.

That's better than the "nothing" I had!

(I was going to upload an update tonight, too... <sigh>)

Just to check, Rob, I sent you some bio details and a couple of other
pics from _Bottle Fairy_ about a week ago and you didn't ping me back or
put the pics and info up on the part-timer page. Did you get the email?

No, I didn't. <sigh> Could I trouble you to re-send them?

Considering how flaky my e-mail has been on occasion lately, I *always*
ping submissions, no matter how small. If somebody doesn't get a ping
within a week, then either I fell into his or her spamblock or I never
saw the submission in the first place.

On their way. Hope they get through *this* time.
