Funimation @ ACen:

The long awaited Worst-Kept Licensing Secret in Anime History: Romeo
x Juliet

Of course, that was about all the news from four scheduled industry
panels...

Bandai Entertainment: Nothing major, but some BR releases.
Funimation: Galen's stuff + RxJ
Viz: CANCELLED (probably that they really aren't an anime company,
and have no interest marketing to anime fans -- being that the Shonen
Jump series do quite enough)
ADV: CANCELLED (why? If you really want people to believe you are
not dead... They were rumored to have a booth up there, but said that
no rep could make it to make a panel... Where's the advertising
here? What promotion is this crap?? Real healthy company, that
ADV...)

The only delusional on this group is you.

(For everyone else: We've explained many times, in many ways, that this

believe our explanations and evidence. When we ask him for evidence of
his position, he only offers hearsay.)

Oh, thank goodness. I was wondering if Chicken Little's illness was
contagious, but it's just Starky with a new name?

Thanks for saving me from replying to him; I wouldn't want to break
my word on that, even if it WOULD have been partially his fault for
changing his nick.

Great news from Funi.

With RxJ & DGM getting picked up along with the other titles.

Though im curious about info on Negima OAVs, Negima?! (Series2) plus
Love Hina Rerealease & Season 2 of School Rumble.

Also from what I read on the AOD forums that final volume of Shuffle
will have a box & panties as well.

(Musta taken ADVs Idea when they did Najica Blitz Tactcs O_o )

A side note from Bandai Ent.

They have the Eureka Seven Movie.

As for ADV maybe AKon or AX they'll have a panel who knows.

See ya!

I recognized his pattern pretty quickly, and the "Mike" at the
end was a dead giveaway.

I have to say familiarity with his style has definitely bred
contempt...

A US anime release packaged with panties? Some things never change...

I found that fansubbed not long ago, and managed to get a copy. I can
tell you all that it wouldn't go over very well in today's market.
Not because of offensive content--because of LACK of it. It's very
softcore, but it's also generally pretty funny, and has some semblence
of plot. It also looks pretty dated, but WTF, if you can look past
that, it's not a bad way to kill 3/4 of an hour.

Watson.

I may still have that fansubbed on VHS (I got rid of a large
portion of my trading fansubs a couple of years ago). I kept
it up on the site primarily because of Sony and their desire
to keep if off CPM's plate way back when ^_^.

I agree, it's not that bad a show; the art style reminded me of
a manga I read years ago called Sweet Life for some reason. I
always thought it was a pity that Sony was worried about this
title giving them an embarrassment (I mean, c'mon, it's not
Urotsukidoji or something of that nature) once the "promos"
for the show came out. I recall CPM's people still won't talk about
it.

If there's a digital fansub out there for it I'll have to look for
it. It's certainly got to be better-looking than my VHS copy ^_^.
