My 2009 Anime Viewing List

first episode of over 100 new and continuing anime series, movies and OAVs. And
that's with deliberately not bothering with sequels to series that I didn't care
for in the past.
As usual, I will group what I watched by descending order of my preference ďż˝ my
favorite anime first and working my way down the list to the series that I felt
were the worst of the year. Again, as usual, these are my personal ratings ďż˝ you
may well love something that I feel is pure crap, and you may well feel that
something that I love is pure crap, but that's how it goes.

I see you kept your highest rating for SE even after that kind of
ending. IMHO it was a very enjoyable series but the ending was
extremely disappointing. I mean, Maka beats the big baddy, an evil god
of immeasurable power, with Courage Punch? That's as cheesy as it can
get. My final rating would be A-.

I liked the ending, which isn't too surprising because Maka was my
favorite character throughout the entire series.
