Yup, Disney XD (formerly "Toon Disney") will be getting Naruto
Shippuden next month. Cartoon Network still shows the Naruto movies,
so I'm not clear on how the rights thing works; funny how just a few
years ago CN had that "Hundo," running one hundred Naruto episodes in
a row:

I was only just starting to watch Naruto when CN stopped showing it.
It'll be interesting to see what Disney does with this. I wonder if
they'll cut it to shreds or just let it run as is?

Will find out next month I guess.

Say, where can I watch a "real" episode, so I can compare what they do
to it?

http://naruto.viz.com/ has it subbed, as does Crunchyroll and Hulu.
AFAIK they don't cut anything.

The question is whether Disney will.

I think this is a major loss for Viz (though it may not be a _fatal_
one). I do, however, think it's clear that what anime franchises
_might_ make money are going to be exiting what was the anime industry
in rather short remaining order.
