It's a little down the page. Looks like most of the original
cast are back, with a couple of notable exceptions (Alphonse
being the obvious one getting a change, but I think we knew
that would happen).

Ok, I'll bite, why did we know that Alponse would get a new VA? I
thought the voice was pretty good, and IIRC Al can't age while he is in
the suit of armor, ne?

Let's just say this: Al's VA from the first series no longer sounds
like 6, but probably more like a deep 26...

Well, I did listen to him on the "OAV" collection, and while he sounded
okay, I think he'd definitely have problems with having to try and
maintain that voice throughout the series (they even made a joke about
it in the "wrap-up" chibi oav).

And I don't think Aaron would be willing to be castrated for our
benefit ^_^.

Naturally, if the dub studio had known from the start this would be a
long term part (as opposed to 52 episodes and done) they would have
cast accordingly.

Except that this is not a continuation, but a reboot. So the "aging" he
went through in the first series effectively never happened for the purposes
of Brotherhood.
