You now have an opportunity to purchase artwork from Duncan Marjoribanks'
first solo commercial work.
Our gallery has cels with their matching drawings from a commercial that
Duncan did in 1976 for the Central Canada Exhibition. The commercial has a
farmer character, done by Duncan, who introduced the all-star cast of
entertainers for that year's Ex. The farmer was also the fair's mascot.
There is no graphic of this work on/in our website, however, there are 8
setups, cels/drawings, of other work done by the same studio Duncan
worked for while in Ottawa. Our gallery is the only one that carries
this artwork. Some work such as "Tales of The Wizard of Oz" and "Curious
George" are ground breakers in the industry. We also have colour crayon
animation from the 1980 film "Tukiki & His Search For A Merry Christmas".
This particular sequence was done by Vic Atkinson, whose son Barry is a
noted and much sought after background artist. So, please visit our
online gallery (we have a preformated mail link) and send us e-mail.
For those of you who cannot access websites e-mail your address or fax
number along with your interests and we'll be more than happy to respond.
Please remember you will find no Disney, WB, Chuck Jones artwork,
however, you will treat yourself to fine Canadian work.
